Was gonna ask you what your point is, but I have a feeling that you're basically trying to tell me that I haven't been here long enough.

I know I haven't, but when I first joined I actually enjoyed posting here. I became more active in a few other threads too for the same reason. Then I went away for a month and for some reason activity stopped and the content got to the point where it became unbearable for me. At least, this was my experience. (also keep in mind that I'm not talking about only this thread in particular but in a more broader sense)

You want to know why I keep coming back? I keep coming back in hopes that things will get better. But it isn't, and I'm just going to give up at this point.

This reminds me that my premium will end next month.

Oh well, dunno if I'll bother to pay for it again. I could probably save the money for better things lol

All the FE characters, except Ike, lack gender defining proportions. I think the male/female versions are really the same character with a wig and voice changer.
Uh... What about Roy? He and Ike are the only FE characters in Smash that look noticeably "masculine" to bishonen Marth, bifauxnen Lucina, and genderless blobs Corrin and Robin. Also, male Corrin looks like a twig in both Fates and Smash because of his armor and slim, androgynous build. The irony that Cloud looks manlier than Marth when he's supposed to be the bishonen game character. Then again, that might have been a post-Advent Children and pre-remake thing as concept art had him look ripped compared to most appearances and his blocky self because of PSone graphics did make him look muscular. It's changing as the remake is making him look sickly as all hell and Dissidia's pushing him to be a bit more like Roy, a well-built young man, than Marth, an androgynous young man.

Morning girls. How's everyone doing? :4zelda:

Gonna be having a meeting with my TA in two hours. So I'll be printing Week 6 out for both of us to look at. And my shower cannot be used for a while, since my Dad has taken out the seal around the rim of the shower. Guess I'll be washing my hair in the bathroom until the seal gets replaced. :yeahboi:

Also, Mario maker update tomorrow! <3

Corrin: Oh... Ohh...

Hello.

I am Corrin.

Please believe me.
When did Corrin get so buff? :secretkpop:

male corn is actually worse (gameplay-wise) than female corn. don't be surprised if you see male corn in low tier while female corn is in some other position much higher than wherever the **** male is

Xenoblade Chronicles X talk, gameplay stuff but no story spoilers:

I beat the stupid blood lobster mission and managed to beat all the conquest time trials. Roxoskell was by far the hardest. I noticed the WR for those are 3 seconds and I took like 3 minutes. People must have 3 friends, all in overdrive mode, to speedrun those sort of like how Monster Hunter is speedran.
My character is lv60 and I've done almost everything except the super lv 90+ tyrants like the everqueen in Sylvelum sphere etc.

My setup is bastion warrior but with long sword and assault rifle so it's like the Duelist class but with extra defense and an extra skill slot :smirk:. What I've found is no amount of strategy or debuffs equals head on overdrive assaults. The psycorruptor/mastermind class is a cool concept but ultimately lacking. The best everything is a great offense in this game :ohwell:. As such, Nagi is the best teammate for hard tyrants on the ground and characters with classes focusing on attack are the ideal endgame partners.

I finally got 4 Ares 90 skells :awesome: and they outperform the lv 60 frames by a wide margin. The 'force' stats don't seem super impressive but their stats and preset augments are outrageous. So many ether atk up augments+ top tier attack and potential ratings by far. You know how the story has things about 'a weapon is useless without skill', blah blah blah? My skell begs to differ. If you beat the game, getting an Ares 90 skell (arms manufacturer computer>create new gear>skell frames) should be your top priority.

Currently I'm trying to make the 'true cords' etc ultimate armor. I've been farming yggwhatever zero nemesis for broken body parts then trading them for reward tickets. The set takes forever because each piece requires 30 noble ygg scales and other parts. Fortunately the ultimate weapons are easy to make if you have the plans.

The last 2 pages and including this one are reminder of why I love this thread so much. Even though I've said it before, it deserves to be said again because of how true it is.

So I decided to watch a walkthrough of Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney because I just remembered that game exists and it's very low on my list of my priorities gaming-wise

That game is ruining me emotionally oh my god.

Speaking of hoes... Has anyone played the 3DS Harvest Moon games? Are any of them recommended?
Late response but I've played A New Beginning, the first Harvest Moon on 3DS. If you like Harvest Moon games, than I do recommended it. I find it to be the best handheld Harvest Moon game and a decent HM game overall. If you don't like HM games than it's better to avoid it but if you like the series it's worth playing. Being able to customize your character and farm is a nice addition. Also the game has some great (literal) waifus/husbandos to marry as well which is a plus in my book.

There are 3DS harvest moon games?

I did not know that
Including the DS games playable on 3DS 'cause backwards compatibility and the Virtual Console, there's several Harvest Moon games on the 3DS. For whatever reason, it's been rebranded as Story of Seasons. Also, the Rune Factory games which have Harvest Moon elements. All, but 2 Rune Factory games were on the DS and by proxy, the 3DS; Rune Factory Frontier was Wii-only and Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny was PS3 and Wii-only.

What's the pinkish bubble mean?

It's an assumption that the alleged "defensive hitboxes" that correspond to most slash moves actually do anything

This was on the Game & Watch boards, apparently created from the community Skype group (lol). It's decent but needs some work. Mewtwo likely is even or only a small advantage, Lucas should probably be a small advantage. My experience with Palutena says it's definitely not a shut-out but I could be wrong.

Ness is even or slight advantage for him (IMO), Pac-Man is probably even, Pikachu is our advantage, Mega Man is our disadvantage. We probably beat ROB, Kirby is probably even. Not sure on Duck Hunt since good doge mains are super rare. I lost one particular FG match against a good one, but he only stayed for one match. I fail to see how Villager is even but Duck Hunt is a loss, lol.

Fox is probably a loss but not that bad but I don't really care.

FullMoon FullMoon to make your emotional trauma less brutal I will inform you that they almost had Layton designed as more of an AA character, with better muscle tone and a more detailed (slightly) face. Or a robot, I guess.

Mewtwo definitely doesn't lose +2 to GnW, that's just ridiculous.

I swear, just because you have a bucket doesn't make it an autowin, sheesh
