Mewtwo definitely doesn't lose +2 to GnW, that's just ridiculous.

I swear, just because you have a bucket doesn't make it an autowin, sheesh

:150:
In the cases of Samus and Wii Fit Trainer they have far worse mobility and just simply aren't as threatening as Mewtwo so I can see them being solid advantages for G&W (though Wii Fit Trainer may be debatable since the character is decent). Game & Watch might have beat Mewtwo +2 before the mobility/FAir/UAir buffs but definitely not now.

The whole list is capricious on how well G&W deals with projectiles and projectile-based characters, it's stupid.

This was on the Game & Watch boards, apparently created from the community Skype group (lol). It's decent but needs some work. Mewtwo likely is even or only a small advantage, Lucas should probably be a small advantage. My experience with Palutena says it's definitely not a shut-out but I could be wrong.

Ness is even or slight advantage for him (IMO), Pac-Man is probably even, Pikachu is our advantage, Mega Man is our disadvantage. We probably beat ROB, Kirby is probably even. Not sure on Duck Hunt since good doge mains are super rare. I lost one particular FG match against a good one, but he only stayed for one match. I fail to see how Villager is even but Duck Hunt is a loss, lol.

Fox is probably a loss but not that bad but I don't really care.

@FullMoon to make your emotional trauma less brutal I will inform you that they almost had Layton designed as more of an AA character, with better muscle tone and a more detailed (slightly) face. Or a robot, I guess.

Agree for all characters I play except maybe Doc and Mewtwo. Doc vs. G&W is probably even due to Doc's general onstage presence (safety, OoS game, excellent frame data) Megavitamins not filling bucket, and both characters not having anything particularly threatening for one another in the matchup. Mewtwo is definitely disadvantaged against Mewtwo because of G&W's short stature, good edgeguard game against him, Bucket eating Shadow Ball, but Mewtwo's range and kill power are still much better. Mii SF being -2 against G&W also seems off, though I've never played the matchup myself. It just looks like its a result of bad stigma against SF. SF's projectile game + range seems like it could keep out G&W pretty well, especially with his/her full moveset.

Agree with you that Pika beats G&W btw.

That said, my experience against G&W is mainly with Greninja, Pika and Zelda, so I could be wrong on things. I think the G&W Skype did a solid job on the spread from what I can tell.

I can confirm that G&W is torture to deal with when playing WFT. It's hard to get in and offstage game is severely weakened by the fact that his up B has a fast, constant hotbox. Also being small makes him hard to combo or even hit in the first place.
tbh at first I thought it was a chart for how much the G&W boards like every character because every character I like is in +2 rip me ;_;

IMO Link/G&W is even.
One thing that I'll concede is that against most/all of the heavies, or at least heavy hitters, I think Game & Watch theoretically wins the matchups. They tend to be combo food (NAir didn't get nerfed in damage, 17% boyz) and are largely gimpable. But, because he's so light and has trouble kiling outside of gimps, his trades tend to suck, and their range/damage combinations are pretty brutal. In practice it feels more even but if the Game & Watch is especially careful/precise it's probably in his favor. I have had some problems against Link IRL (not terrible, but the MU doesn't seem much different than it is online for me) so you're probably onto something. Same thing with Ganon, except he gets gimped even harder than Link (but has a nasty tool in Flame Choke).

Yeah it's not bad overall but it seems a little off for some characters. I agree that Doc is probably close to even, though better than Mario just becuase Doc is a lot more limited in movement (though he hits about 20x harder lol) and can be gimped better. I have a mental block or something against Mario and tend to lose to him even though it feels like it should be even. And Swordfighter probably isn't a +2 but I have 0 experience (hi Antonykun).

He can crouch under fully charged Sun Salutation :lick:

Bucketing it is better (you can bucket it during the charge for the weakest bucket possible lol) but he can duck under it.

hot DANG Smashboards ruined my attempt at a cool avatar.

The thing Link has that many heavys don't is the tools to force an approach. G&W has to deal with projectiles and can't dance around looking for an opening at his leisure. I feel like this is a highly momentum based MU; both fighters can make the game seem like a -2 for the opponent if they're allows to have their way. Link plays zoning/passive aggressive and G&W plays mixup/comboing.
In this MU even though G&W can bucket bombs, it gives Link a great projectile mix up game. Bombs have no real commitment to be thrown once pulled and arrows, boomerang and Zair can't be absorbed. If G&W gets good reads and starts filling his bucket simply stop relying on bombs.
G&W has a fantastic gimping game but Link has power. G&W combos but Link is much heavier and has good reward on hit.

Except for maybe Lylat, which I'd ban, Link doesn't have stage trouble vs G&W. Most stages seem to help both characters in their own ways.

Seems even to me.

Just got back from a weekly you gorls! Placed 7th out of 30. I used the $5.99 :secretkpop: to achieve this, but what made it great is that I only fought through well known (for being good) people in bracket. The whole crew that mainly goes to that weekly are all pretty good though (for the most part) so that's good. The top ten people are all around the same skill level (except the top two by a bit) and I only barely lost each of those matches. Had I successfully ceiling comboed each time I probably could've gotten to at least semi finals. Also, our (currently) 2nd ranked player (formerly 1st) that I kind of have a crush on (shh) stayed and watched all of my sets that he could. ONE STEP AT A TIME.
Again, I only used low tier queen :4zelda: in friendlies but I did destroy with her. I'm just not confident enough to use her in bracket because most the people there like to play as some of her worst matchups, which is very unfortunate because I really do want to succeed with her, but we all know how some of those matchups go... Not well.

Anyways, hope all you gorls have been doing well, sorry I haven't been around as much, I've just been extremely busy lately. Hopefully I'll be more active soon with spring break coming up. See you all around. :bubblebobble:

Morning girls. How's everyone doing? :4zelda:

Hello I'm Zero Suit Samus, I hope my avatar doesn't get flagged for being too provocative, tee hee.
When did ZSS get so beautiful? :secretkpop:

Anyway, just doing some Uni work. One of the assignments is about seeing in a different way of Design. So for that, I chose my Pikachu amiibo. Since the activity said it can be anything, so I went with that. :V
Funny thing was that my Link amiibo got caught when I taking my Pikachu amiibo out, the Link amiibo bounced in my hand and I caught it. :secretkpop:

Better recovery than Little Mac, even as an amiibo.

GW is actually okay against corrin imo. Then again, that could be just me being stupid. Lavani Lavani if you can input more, at least random theories, that'd be awesome but yeah, GW vs Corrin feels even-ish. Or corrin's slight adv. Idk, his hitboxes **** with my head. i guess i'm too inexperienced with this mu :|

I still haven't played a G&W with Corrin yet, somehow

Could be anywhere in the +/-1 range I think, I see Corrin winning handily onstage but her recovery is baaaaaad and I'm sure G&W can give her hell offstage for early gimps.

idk I don't really have anything of substance to add, getting gimped is a serious problem for her MU ratios though I think. :4luigi: can just run off downB and gimp her at any percent, it's ridiculous.

Giant tropical centipedes share their territories with tarantulas. Despite it's impressive length, it's a nimble navigator, and some can be highly venomous. As quick as lightning, just like the tarantula it's killing, the centipede has two curved hollow fangs which inject paralyzing venom.
Even tarantulas aren't immune from an ambush.

This centipede is a predator

Hey gorls. Just updating you guys. Still using Corrin and been performing better. Still have my pocket Zelda though. I used her a bit last tournament and haven't really lost anything (Aside from landing kicks as frequently as I use to)

That's good to hear. Glad to see you haven't lost your touch with Zelda.

Linkle is stupidly good

I don't think she's top tier or anything, but she's way better than she deserves to be

her range is lol
c3 is also super sexy

i don't mind using her, but she's not one of my favorites
i'm sure she's a lot more fun to play with weapons that don't have a power of like 104

Do the old DLC characters have new drops and not just other characters? Like how Young Link dropped Link's Boots and Scarf before.

I dunno, her air strong attack is ********

sweetspotted it does more damage than a weak point smash

I'm farming twili midna robes with her on one of the twilight maps and I can kill ghirahim at the start just spamming C2 before the "Defeat an enemy commander!" message even pops up

It took a long time before I got decent weapons for her but she still felt stronger using a 100ish weapon than most characters did using 5star lv2 weps

edit: are there even any adventure maps with skull kid

I just realized I probably got my only drops from him in story mode

Hey gorls. Something exciting happened today. I had my first Smash 4 tourney at my school! It was pretty cool. It was nerve-racking though. There was at least over 30 people at the event. I got pretty far by solely using Wii Fit Trainer (and a bit of Zelda to spread the word to "BAN*ZELDA" :secretkpop:). I got like 2nd place. The prize? A box of pizza. Nothing special. The Smash tournament was solely to promote the new Game Club anyway and for charity.
Actually this is what really happened:
In other words, the tourney came and went way before I arrived. Well, better luck next time.

And amiibo time!
IMG_4545.JPG

Don't ask me about the Warp Star Kirby amiibo. Bought this for uniformity among the other Smash amiibo I got. Although....I might get the Warp Star Kirby one. Might.

I can't tell where the lies end and the truth begins...

Are you a little black girl rolling the dice for a Candyland game (that uses cards) or not?

Actually, I would have been.....had I not walked out immediately disappointed in missing a tourney.
