Prism Tower would have been a sick stage for competitions. Why? It's Delfino, but without water. It only has a walk off while the rest are just platforms.
Prism Tower is alright. It seems less cancerous than Delfino, I think. Maybe.
smh the 3ds stagelist is like, BF/Yoshi's/FD, then Dream Land/Prism Tower/Ferox

Well, I made a point that an Omega can be chosen if it follows the FD layout. Windy Hill Zone with it's grass probably doesn't matter, but it does have a walled bottom. Gaur Plains, Palutena's Temple, and Suzaku Castle don't have that, so whatever. For people who have issues with FD's bright lights, those stages might be better as an alternative... I SWEAR TO DIN, I WILL BURN PEOPLE IF THEY CHOOSE OMEGA SMASHVILLE. :glare:

I forgot about this! Literal Tiger Uppercut!

Can Zelda have a Phantom Uppercut for a new Up Smash or something?

After doing some more testing on Jab>Fair, I came up with this stuff.

-Fast Falling light characters (ex Fox, ZSS) seem to be immune. The taller ones can get hit by a flub kick, but that's kinda useless. As a non-comboing setup, it kinda works, but you're better off going for a grab since these characters are easy to combo with Dthrow.

-Fast Falling heavy characters (ex Bowser, DDD) seem to be vulnerable at about 20%. Their fall speed and weight keep them from going high enough for a kick to reach at other %s. It's still a good setup though. Once again a grab would probably be better here.

-Floaty Lightweights (Rosalinda, Jiggs) are vulnerable from about 0-20%. The problem here is that they start to fly up too high. Luckily, if they're at 0% the follow-up is relatively easy. Jab's angle basically aims for you. Jab>Fair is optimal here since these characters are hard to combo with our throws.

-Floaty Heavyweights (Samus) are extremely vulnerable. It can combo all the way from 0-45%. Poor Samus. Aiming is easy.

-The Midweights (Mario, Luigi, many others probably) don't have it nearly as bad as Samus. Can start as early as 10% and go until about 35-40%. Still a good setup. Whether you should grab or not is up to you here.

I hope this was helpful! I just kinda generalized the weight classes since I didn't want to test every single character. The names in parenthesis are the characters tested (except for the one that says "many others"). I think this is a great setup/combo since it comes off one of our safest moves that also happens to stop some approaches and also has a transcendent disjoint.

To sum it up...
-Fast Fallers aren't worth it all all
-The Fatties are barely worth it
-Floaties are worth it at early % only
-Midweights are definitely worth it, just not at 0%
-Samus sucks

EDIT: I think I'm going to copy-paste this into the moveset thread so more can see it.

Oh, it does... sort of... It's like a Y instead of a fat I... Does that make any sense? It ain't rectangular. :p

The same reason why I don't like Luigi, Rosalina, Diddy, and Sonic: Super Smash Bros. Every time Nintendo makes a multiplayer game, they enrage more people than they make happy. And that's why there's a rage mechanic in the game. We heard you rage, so we added rage, so you can rage while you rage. :4pacman:

In all seriousness, it's because it's getting predictable and monotonous. Most of the time, people pick Smashville and Town and City. Yes, they are "fair" stages - pun totally intended -, but there are other "fair" stages like Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land, and Lylat Cruise - thank a patch for making it even more "fair". At the same time, people complain about them and it still gets picked... Come on, really? And most of the time, Smashville and Town and City are just Final Destinations with temporary platforms that often don't get used. When people are on the platforms, it usually means they're going to sit there and shield or die horribly because they were on it while their opponent was in mid combo. At least on Duck Hunt, people will actually make use of the freaking tree which whenever Little Mac is involved, spells sadness... And if they don't, Duck Hunt Dog forces you to make use of the platforms on Duck Hunt.

Oh, and part of it has to do with Falco and Smashville's platform. Falco's so goddamned slow that when he's on the platform, if he tries to run off it, it's like he's on a treadmill running the wrong way. Why? Developers? WHY? Meanwhile, ZSS and Greninja with their godplayer mobility. Even Luigi has an easier time because he runs faster than Falco. Then there's Robin with better air speed and Ganondorf and Triple D just makes sense when he's supposed to be slow. Then you have skinny as a chicken Falco unable to keep up with an obese man, Wario, a kid, Lucas, and a man in armor, Ike. THE HELL!? Yes, everything has to involve Falco rants. :p

I made a commission and I paid in the wrong currency and since I had to use my dad paypal's account and he didn't tell me the password for some reason and just logged in so I could do the stuff and he went to bed and no way I'm going to wake him up for this.

Basically I'm very talented at messing up the most basic of tasks.

Is SF4 online supposed to be messed up? Even when I win, I lose PP. I'm at 3160 BP, but 160 PP. It's ridiculous.

You can cancel money sent on paypal if they haven't received it. I'm not sure how long you have after the payment is sent, but I'm pretty sure it's possible. I've never done it before, though.

If you have a way to contact the other person, you could ask them to refund you so you can resend the payment.

I don't think Smashville should be legal because it threatens my sanity
I remember one tournament where I literally only played at Smashville

The music was burning my sanity into ashes

It's okay dude. This happens to me too

My brother told me to pull some level in the car. I yanked out a part of the car that didn't even resemble a lever. I just yanked it then he got really pissed

There was also one time he told me to finish Kingdom Hearts II. I accidentally overwrote his save data (he completed the game)

OH. One time in doubles, I did a fully charged f-smash on him which killed him

More Zelda stuff
So we all know that teleporting into someone is bad. Duh. Unsafe and all that. But...we could utilize ledge cancelling to stop this. Someone camping by the edge? Just ledge cancel into them. They'll either shield, evade, or get hit. You can't really be punished easily either since you can jump out of the cancel or just fall and recover in the ledge. If they run for the middle, you could even Farore's again back (but this is risky since the lag isn't cancelled). We can definitely utilize this. This also makes Jab>Farore's much more practical.

I love how people practically circlejerk over character techs and will spend a week+ to learn how to preform it consistently in training mode, let alone an actual battle vs a human opponent, but will meltdown if asked to spend 30-60 minutes on learning a stage.

Good to know that there are people who are more clumsy and disastrous than me, at least my problem I can solve just by paying tomorrow instead lol.

Hey. Smash Wii U and Kingdom Hearts are just games ;^)

The car thing though was kinda serious. Someone had to go there, bring a tool box, and fix it. It took a while because when I yanked it, the screws were rolling on the road so we had to find it. It was baaad

Edit: The "lever" had specific screws. Idk. ANYWAY, at least I didn't have to spend my money or anything

There are people who meltdown when learning about other characters and calling it "jank", a word that I believe should be penalized by having to write 500 sentences with the more sophisticated "ridiculous". When Roy killed people because they were right up in his face and made an unsafe option, they called his Side Smash "jank". Motherfreaker! That was his shtick in Melee and PM: strong hits on the base of his blade. It ain't "jank" when you're being an idiot who by now should know hitting a shield is not a good idea. Hey, how about actually learning the basic moves other characters have along with their basic gimmicks like how Lucario is affected by Aura or how Marth's tipper gimmick would totally be transferred to his counterpart, Roy, as the opposite.

Knowing every characters basic moves at least helps understanding what their moves can do even if you don't know the frame data, what combos they can do from them, or even the damage. Gee, I wonder if it's a good idea to challenge Little Mac's Smashes... Probably not. Even if you didn't know he could confirm a Side Smash from Dtilt, it's still a good thing to know that his Side Smash has armor.

Someone said that after that patch, Wii Fit Trainer is such a better character now... Really? Aside from the Header lag reduction, her other buffs weren't that game-changing. She's pretty much the same character, but now with better hitboxes. That's pretty much what happened to Meta Knight who instead has a better Ftilt and lower end lag on jab. They're good characters if you actually delve into them. The fact Wii Fit Trainer can control space so well and can rarely be gimped means she's going to survive and she's going to control the pace of the battle if you're not able to control space like her. Welp, whatever. Instead, let's focus on developing only like 10 characters and leave the others in the dust which hey, funny enough, characters like Greninja, Mr. Game & Watch, Wario, Marth, Lucina, and Pac-Man have been developing theirs heavily and have surprised the spotlighted 10.

There is so much information. Just look, search, and learn. It's not the freaking dark ages where if someone pulled off a wave dash, people would be confused as hell. It's all out there, so it shouldn't be surprising when Greninja smacks your face with a Shadow Sneak edgeguard.

Well I'm spending money because I want to so that part is not the problem, I'm just managing to mess up something very simple =V

Also the whole car situation almost sounds like something you'd see in a sitcon

Actually, the whole money spending thing was basically saying that it could have been worse for me because if I had to spend money, my money earned from tournaments would go down by quite a lot. It wasn't directed to you, lolol. It's okay dude

Agreeing with you on your latter point. Now I think about it, it's effing hilarious

I'm aware, don't worry =V

If I did something like that to my dad's car I can't imagine just how angry he would be at me, my dad is really chill normally but if you mess up bad then he gets scary as hell.

I don't even like playing on Smashville that much because the ledge cancel spots are weird. Plus I SD more there because there's not a giant wall like there is on FD and BF.

Legit, I am cp'ing music every chance I get. There's too much good music on this game.

But then I got CP'D to an animal crossing stage and I tried to CP music... And ended up turning everything to 0. CUSTOM MUSIC WHEN.

Casual.

How to play on Windy Hill, like a true Evo player:
  1. Turn off all songs
  2. Mod the hell out of your Wii U
  3. Change everything to UNKNOWN FROM M.E.
  4. Play Windy Hill & Knuckles
  5. Ban the stage for stage jank
