I must be some sort of krool person if I don't get sad whenever my pets died over the years.

Then again I never asked or wanted any of the ones I have right now plus I see animals be born and die all the time so maybe I'm just used to it.

Plus less pets means less work which is always a plus in my book.

Over the past couple months he's started hating the characters I play more and more and our play sessions have gotten shorter and shorter. Recently, I've purposefully avoiding my best characters (who just so happen to be the ones he likes fighting the least) for the most part so he doesn't get frustrated/exhausted after a handful of matches.

What's even worse is the fact that playing with me seems to suck the fun out of this game for him. For a while he's been pretty moody about Smash 4, saying things like "The characters other people main make mine unfun to play" and "I feel punished for playing the few characters I DO enjoy, and I hate that". Then, a couple weeks ago when I took a break from Smash due to personal reasons, he suddenly stopped making comments like those. He picked up more characters. He started having more fun with the ones he already liked. He was enjoying the game again.

And now that my break is over, he's returned to being all kinds of moody. I've thought that maybe we shouldn't continue to play together for a while, but now I'm certain that we should stop. He practically forces himself to play with me and he rarely has fun when we do so why bother at this point?

I was in a situation like this not too long ago actually! I also have a "friend" who is like this. Every time we played, the session would end with him drowning in salt. "That kill was BS", " The game didn't register my input", "The lag made me lose", "The lag made me Side-B instead of Up-B" (He was greninja @ Berserker. ). He would also be guilty of throwing his DS and disconnecting mid-match when he was losing. It also didn't help that he was the living epitome of a FG player. (He mains Ness btw) He would also just quit at the start of the match when I chose to play Rosalinda. Not once was there a GG from him, so a couple months later I got sick of his garbage. I told him to quit his bi****** and that I experience lag too. We haven't played since, but I'm glad because I don't have to purposefully handicap myself for no good reason.

he johns when he wins and beats himself up when he loses
I play pikachu so sding is natural but he goes "I only won cuz you SDed"
he "translates" my honest complements to some backhanded insult like
"hey great job with that sheik play"
"TRANSLATION: hey, scrub, good job finally taking a stock off, lol."
he'll "translate" when i'm complementing my other friends too

Salt players are too distracting in person, i was in a default tournament(the one this wednesday) and i got uair strings against his D3.

I'll post a gif of it soon lol. But anyway he said "that's ****ing bull****" and he started spazzing out,me being easy to please in terms of comedy was rolfing so hard that i cried.

I came 4th out of 64 got ezz moneh, tbh 30/64 were bad so im not proud of my high placement. I clocked new MKs too but only secondary MKs, so they were fodder by default.

Typically you don't want to approach with Greninja since he doesn't have very good tools for it. F-Air is good though, but you need to space it really well for it to be safe on shield. N-Air also can't be shield grabbed if you space it well.

For the most part when you have to go after the opponent you want to bait them into doing something and punishing rather than directly attacking them. Otherwise you want to make them go after you by pelting them with shurikens until they get to you and play a more reactive game against them.

He'll even laugh when something ridiculous happens to him (Our Ness VS Ganon matches are usually mind-numbingly dumb and absolutely hilarious).

The only time I ever gave up in a match against friends online was against @ FullMoon . I was just laughing so hard and just said "That's it, I'm done!" after losing two stocks to his Palutena. So I ran off the walkoff and SD'd. XP

Plus it was Delfino we were on. So it was kinda dope that I died to a low ceiling and a backthrow.
