I've been wasting my time trying out other characters for no reason.

Surprised to see that people don't use Fire Gyro on R.O.B. much. I'm guessing it's situational/it sucks?
Dunno, I haven't messed with ROB's customs much. Slip Gyro would probably be better if the passive spinning could trip but it can't so. Fire Gyro does more damage and is easier to pick up which is really handy. AFAIK the only downside compared to default is that it doesn't travel as far so you can't hit people across the stage when you launch it. I honestly think I'd use it if I messed with his customs more.

I still want a picture where the top is replaced with a sandwich because "gyro."

The sad thing about this satan spawn is the fact that he's laughing his *** off on the clapping screen. You get no satisfaction whatsoever.

MK is so extreme when it comes to MUs, its either you do this or you die.

:4luigi:?

:4metaknight:"ahaha warionumbah2 you can't be aggro cuz luigi does silly damage out of his throws, you know what that means? Yess camp him"

:4ness:?

:4metaknight:"ahaha torment this child warionumbah2, fail to follow my orders and you lose. Are you a loser warionumbah2? Because i only allow winners to use me"

:4olimar:?

:4metaknight:"Our ground options are insufficient, we must take to the skies and camp. Abuse up throw too."

:4littlemac:?

:4metaknight:"Take him to anything that isn't omega, get a hit and camp him. ahaha"

I think people will hate MK if they fight him often, cause i hate dittos. He's literally Falcon 2.0 he's doing the exact same thing lol. Fun character to use, sadly i can't use other chars cuz i never sh aerial in neutral. :(

Edit: I like satly players like Kiraflax, always puts a smile on my face.
I remember him being the saltiest player I've ever seen back in Brawl.
He's playing Smash 4 now?

When I was playing SBphiloz4 whenever I missed rest, when he tried to elevator. I could just hold left or right and it would completely miss. I think a lot of people just don't know that it can be DIed, once people find out. Farore's Wind won't be that good offensively anymore.
I tested this out in the training a long time ago.

It really is that easy to escape it.

DI is the ultimate counter to the elevator.

If you see it coming or even accidentally move/hold left or right, you get a free escape and a free punish.

Just fast fall back down and use any strong attack/grab/anything that can be done somewhat quickly.
A missed elevator is so easy to punish since :4zelda:has to wait 10 years before she can even move in the air since up b kills her momentum for reasons that make no sense which makes her a sitting duck to nearly (maybe even all) every single up smash in the game along with many forward smashes and any other strong move or set up that are can be done fast enough.

This is how people escape :foxmelee:'s up air all the time in Melee so the same thing will happen to the elevator once people remember/know that it can be done.

So apparently I've been pronouncing "masochist" wrong my entire life.

How could I be the ultimate masochist in maining Zelda if I don't even know how to express my masochistic feelings correctly smh :////

People escape Fox's Uair in Melee via SDI which is considerably different to normal DI (see Lavani's sig, that's SDI).

Once people start figuring out how to DI the Elevator, we're gonna have to react/read the direction & reappear in the right direction. The main problem isn't reacting to the direction (we have about 22 frames to input a direction from starting FW until we start moving, which is about 367ms (3 s.f.). Well within the average human reaction time of ~200-250ms) but actually inputting the direction get the hit (which are the awkward angles between :GCU::GCUL: & :GCU::GCUR: or the angles 22.5 degrees or 337.5 degrees if you want the numbers). And that will require a lot of practice in both instances.

None of the angles FW can travel in is the same direction someone will travel if they DI it in the air. And if it does, you may hit with the sourspot in the process.

...Damn, my reaction time sucks. According to this, I average 295ms. Then again, I barely got any sleep last night, so maybe I'm just having a bad day.
I tried it again... Seems the blinking white lights were throwing me off - I was focusing too hard on them and trying to react to a pattern (which doesn't exist, since they're random). Covered them up, and now I'm getting 226ms. That's... quite an improvement :p

I'm pretty sure lack of sleep would have an effect lol. Still good enough for FW tho :p

You're somewhat correct in that FW doesn't move in the same angles as the DI of the opponent, but you should still be able to hit them with the sourspot at the very least if you get the right direction (FW's hitboxes are huge). And getting the sourspot is much better than missing the reappearance completely.

Is hitting with the sour spot guaranteed or is it character size/fall speed/whatever dependent?

I will need to test that out later. I've only tried Pikachu in training at 1/4 Hold L & at different positions & DIs & I've been getting mostly sweetspots (I got a sourspot when FW1 hit from far away, Pika DI'd towards Zelda & Zelda went straight up. I did however get the sweetspot when I inputted :GCU::GCUR: from the same distance away)

I just realized this but getting such precise inputs would be much harder with wifi lag wouldn't it.

TFW you are in the X-ray room and you are pretty much the only middle age person in there. All the Zelderly have occupied the area and I feel like I'm not supposed to belong here.

And I'm probably going to wait like an hour for my time gg me.

Edit: realized I was waiting in the wrong area all along FML

So I just had my first experience with Kong Cyclone.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be but why does this move autocancel so fast? lol.

The windbox on it is really weird too.

I know that feeling when waiting for something.

^ Me waiting for Wii LAN Adapter to come through post

Can't believe I won't see my beloved for three weeks. I already miss my little kitty... I'll miss my kitty Duchess (originally named Zelda :secretkpop:) and the Zelda Social Gorls too
I had a dog who had to be put down back in 2012/2013 because he had arthritis in his back legs. It was really sad.
But my parents are planning on getting two dogs soon.

Okay now that is really sad :(
I'm just sentimental so not seeing my kitty while I'm out of the country for three weeks is full of painfulness :c

Really, from my experience a player can spam that move. It's certainly annoying to deal with mostly because of silly windbox. I'm not a big fan of it.

Well it was around 2012/2013 so we're okay now. It would be nice to get two more companions. We've had dogs before. Two Westies, Sheepdog and a Spaniel. So we'll be getting two more Spaniels.

Guess I'll be voting for Dogs in Splatoon. :troll:

But seriously, don't let it get to you. Whenever something like that happens, I'm always given the advice of do something to take your mind off of it. Who knows, those three weeks may fly by.
