"Actively get in the way of battle" doesn't matter when they are predictable. It isn't getting in the way, it is using to your advantage. And 1 second distractions doesn't hurt anyone. At all. Like I have no idea how you can consider these obnoxious. 1 second out a 5 minute or 8 minute match. Even if you say something like "it happens repeatedly," ok. 5 seconds out of an entire match.

It doesn't matter if they are predictable or not, it's just that they are there to begin with is the main issue. Especially with Halberd where the hazards can kill you if you are hit by them, & at times you have to stop what you are doing to avoid them interrupts the match. Even if it's a very short interruption, it can effect the outcome of the match & that should be avoided.

Camping is an ugly word when used towards anything that isn't permanent or able to be done to such an extent it is almost impossible to hit your opponent. The correct word to use here is "defensive." A layout that promotes defensive play isn't bad. Especially since people are still going to get hit most likely. This game is already defensive, so if defensive playstyles bother then I'm sorry, this isn't the game for you.

Sm4sh is already slow as it is, why do you want to grind it to a (temporary) halt by legalising stages like Delfino & Skyloft? We have enough time outs as it is on SV.

While walk-off camping is a problem, a more pressing issue comes from the fact that you can get ridiculously early kills just for being quite close to it with certain grabs, jab locks &/or smash attacks. And with most of the rulesets 2 stocks/6 minutes, getting that early kill means you've almost won the match, considering how strong Rage is with the 2 stock ruleset.

So no. None of it should be banned. All of these stages are fair, and any problem you see with them either isn't that big of deal or don't actually happen in a serious match.

They must be a significant deal if the UK/Ireland made a stagelist banning every single of the aforementioned stages. At least I don't have to deal with much external bull**** & my only focus is on how the hell I'm getting around Sheik's needles.

Nah. I mean. All my arguments are based on balancing the game. Having every character have a stage they prefer and having stages characters don't like. Each stage offering a unique type of area. You have yet to give me a why for your argument. You say it effects the outcome of the match, and ok sure. But in the end the winner is determined by the skillful player who capitalized on it and the skillful player who was able to avoid. It is still a test of skill one way or the other.

If early kills were an issue, melee would be ded. Also, I said it before and I will say it again. No one is dumb enough to fall for walk off camping on a temp. walk off. Likewise, no one would do walk off camping on a temp walk off because it would put them at a disadvantage.

These are the same people who ended up helping the ice climbers become dumb in brawl by banning stages that supposed gave meta knight advantages, (which didn't work btw, he was also still dumb).

The TOs aren't gods. They only react to what the spectators do. If the spectators say it is a good idea, they will do it.

The probably made the stagelist because they wanted to be conservative and not get backlash from conservative spectators.
