Yes, the versions of Bayonetta and her rival Jeanne from Bayonetta 1, 2, and 3 are all officially separate entities. Both characters are the main protagonists of obscure similarly named works. Lucky Star shares it name with a live action film released in 1929. And MegaMan.EXE/RockMan.EXE/MegaMan Battle Network shares it's name with a popular indie game series titled Sonic.EXE, and yes, there are now more Sonic.EXE games now, such as nightmare beginning and spirits of hell.

Since Lilac (Freedom Planet) and Bayonetta are both obscure, but likable videogame characters, who more or less fissions of Shantae, ability wise. Both Shantae and Bayonetta possess magical abilties, while both Shantae and Lilac possess their signature hair combat abilities. Medabee (Metabots-Medarot) and Travis (Sudaverse/No More Herose) are both obscure, but likable videogame characters. Freedom Planet and Medabots are both obscure videogame clones of popular videogame series. HWYR if there was a videogame character who was an amalgamation of Medabee and Travis, where he was a robot who wielded a lightsaber/energy sword, and is the main protagonist of a an obscure clone of a videogame series with robots?

Since Klonoa, Lilac (Freedom Planet), Bayonetta, and Ryu (Ninja Gaiden), are all obscure, but likable videogame characters HWYR, if in Smash 6, Lilac replaces Bayonetta (Bayonetta 2 version), while Bayonetta (Bayonetta 3 version) and Ryu (Ninja Gaiden) get demoted to mii costumes and spirits. At the same time, Waluigi and Klonoa are promoted to playable characters, while Waluigi's piranha plant gets demoted to one of Waluigi's special moves, but the same time, Goku (Dragon Ball), Saber (Fate), Miku (Vocaloid), and Rena (When They Cry) get assist trophies, mii costumes, and spirits. While Key visual novels and Aikatsu just get spirits. Not to mention, both Klonoa, and Lilac both trump Bayonetta and Ryu (NInja Gaiden) likability wise.
