Hate to break it to you but universal owns the race to the Mario and Nintendo franchise due to the theme park being built based on the Nintendo franchise from Mario to rumored pokémon, right where the kids zone used to be at universal studios Orlando

The idea of classic sonic and tails in smash would rather work as modern Sonic's and Tails's echo, but okay. At least we have 2 fighters with classic designs and 2 fighters with modern designs.

Dude, I don't think Mario needs a reboot game.
Look, Mario games are still great and I don't think we should make a reboot based on it (unless if Mario becomes a dormant franchise in far future, then it would make sense)
