Truth, GenCon had at least 1-2 Smash Tournaments throughout the four days.

M2K they would only pay to top 2. So first place would get $250+ and 2nd would get $90+

yeah but in 09 it was capped at 32 so I got around 200~ the first day and 100~ the second day. Twas a good year

Last year i got 40~ for 2nd doubles and 120~ for 2nd singles

I legitimately took first place in brawl singles the past two years, and doubles last year(first year they did dubs)

The year before I won, zyth won the first day and I think the Mann won the second day.

The first year I got first(2 years ago) me and mann actually split, but I won the set.

Ori/zyth took 2nd in doubles last year, and roller hasn't entered before.

Last year I took first and zyth placed second due to Tech, Ori, and myself all being on the sane side if the bracket, while zyth was left alone with just people from the con.

So yeah, if u guys do come can I have a free pass to the finals since Im the reigning champ?

Provide Jake with this "hype" because right now this thread is only showing Keitaro + Michigan local interest. Give names, let's see talk of carpools, then we'll know there is actual hype. Until then, there is no real reason to say that this tournament is going to be big other than your word.
