The following is a matchup thread based off of tournament results. If you would like to contribute, please do as right now the list is relatively pathetic.

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=238102

To make sure as many people as possible see this thread. I am posting it in every social thread.
this is the most confusing thread ever conceived on the internet

I wish. I normally attend every major event but for me to spend about $500 to go and place somewhere around top 32 is not worth it =[. Smash is a robber of money if you don't win, and spending that much money to get nothing is not really worth it lol.

I have no money, I'm in Ohio, and I'm going to my grandparents in Michigan that day IIRC.
So I can't go :(

Well, I went to Clach of Brokeness VI,

I did well with Link in the low tier tournament until Samurai Panda knocked me into losers. Then I beat oog but got beat by a jigglypuff.

In Singles I got ***** and never made it out, I can't remember most of the names, some were Judge, Shugo, $$$$, AVJ, etc.

After this tournament I realized my spacing needs work, so I'm going to work on that with Link and Lucario.

Hey since this is the general chat, where can I get someone to make me a signature that relates to Lucario?

I think FlameWaveK is good at that stuff (too bad he doesn't come here anymore lol), but you'll find him more on the IRC and AiB, iirc.

Yeah, I second Flame for sigs.

Now to get to work on Luc's ATs; here is my (most-likely) incomplete list of Luc ATs:

Reverse Double Team
Reverse Aura Sphere
Extreme Awesome
Extreme Stop
Extreme Shift
Ledge-Cancel
(I)SJR for all of Lucario's moves
B-Stick

If you guys can think of anything else, please say so. Thanks! ^.^

ES bounce
ledge-walljump (on stages without clingable walls like BF)
jab-cancelling
b-reversal (kind of under the reverse AS category, but still good to know)
those are some other ones I remember that could be added to that list.

There's not much info on Extreme Bounce yet, (Yes I will call it that >:^U), and I'd like a video with each AT.
Ledge-Walljump is viable as an AT.
Jab-Cancel, does that mean something like Jab>Jab>___? If so, I wouldn't consider that an AT, but more of a common tactic.
B-reversal is basically RAS, so w\e.

I got two more out of this, gee thanks now I have to do more work! thanks!

jab cancel is what you can do out of it, but most refer to AA -> buffer crouch to help cancel it to go for another AA again, it's really good if they expect an FP at the end of it and try to DI -> spotdodge, and it's still really hard to DI it for many characters. It forces it to call out more "IASA" frames earlier, since pressing A will still give it default input
old video, but shows the concept:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_lJn1f0Egw&feature=channel_page
And I say b-reversal only because I want someone to comment on how you can flip around and zag away with your momentum while charging AS in the air, it's a really good mindgame to get both your AS charged safely and to draw out your opponent's response.
If I can do friendlies @ Kevin's, I'l show what I mean by ES bounce and this other stuff.

Not much of an AT, though =\
I'd consider that a combo if anything.

ALso, I'll PM you my description of EB so that you can add anything I missed.

Who doesn't take PMs? D=

Extreme Bounce-
Extreme Bounce, (most commonly referred to as EB), is a technique that allows Lucario to bounce forward off of the stage upon impact with the ground out of ES. This allows for safer recoveries. To do it, aim ES toward the ground mid-flight and immediately flick the control stick forward. When done correctly, Lucario should have a noticeable “bounce” forward. This technique is fairly new, so information is still being found about it.

Videos: None yet.
I do talk about the momentum reversal that comes from RAS, just to respond to you edit.

Do you guys think Lucario should have a tournament result thread? I think it would benefit the Lucario community by seeing if we are progessing at tournaments or falling behind. If so I would be happy to make this thread.

Also in the offical critique my lucario guide I uploaded a video. If you guys can critique it that would be awesome.

It might work, but isn't this the same thing as Anoku's thread in tactical?

It would be similar but not exactly the same. I would organize each persons data so you can compare your tournament results. This way you could see how you have changed as a Lucario, either for the better or the worse.

Like a rankings list? It'd work I'd guess.

With any luck, I'll be going to my first offline tournament tomorrow. About time, imo. I was getting sick of wifi and I'm eager to start repping Lucario in the real world. Wish me luck!;)
