It actually does more damage than this. Sorry to talk some reality in here but the retaliation is a big problem. How? Well, when Aeris essentially prevented Leo's birth (I think that's there names. It is right?), she essentially created a paradox. Essentially, since she killed Leo (somehow), Leo wouldn't have been born to annoy her to resorting to said action, and thus, she wouldn't go back in time to kill him. since she didn't go back in time, she didn't kill him, and he was still free to annoy her and make her resort to going back in time to kill him. This constant repetition is what a paradox is, and thus, there are two options:
A: you **** the timeline (great, you just destroyed us all you **********!)
B: You actually warped to another dimension, and you still haven't eliminated the thing you were trying to eliminate.

Physics, really ****ing confusing.

Oh, also, there is a second hindrance to time travel, you can only go as far back in time as the moment you turned the machine on. So you can either go into the future, or go back a few seconds, which is entirely pointless. Here's my rule of thumb when time traveling:

Don't mess with the Past:
you can create a paradox that can horribly **** the time line, or you can create something out of the Simpsons tree house of horror segment Time and Punishment (They were originally Halloween specials, but now they are just called tree house of horror, after the location of the first one, Bart's tree house) In which you can do a simple act and horribly change the future.

Do whatever you want to the future:
you can just change it now and create an alternate timeline

Oh, now for a funny bit:http://xkcd.com/469/

Yeah, can we PLEASE MOVE ON FROM THIS!

That might actually explain a lot. Here's something else that explains a lot too: Homo sapiens and the Neanderthal might have interbreed, which explains the rapid diversity of the human race, along with language, and how the Neanderthal died out (they were absorbed into the modern Human species)

Yeah I have this question in my head about where all different kinds of people come from. like if I believe going WAY back to the first days of manhood like Adam and Eve, weren't they white? If that's true, when and where did people of a dark skin come in?

Yep, as an avid evolutionist, things can get easier to explain. Humans as we know them came from Africa, so a darker skin color would have formed (due to the intense heat). Once they went up north, those with a lighter skin color (for absorbing light and converting it into vitamin D) had an advantage. This can come from both mutations from humans and interbreeding with the local Neanderthal population. They can be easier to explain from a scientific perspective, it just takes more words than the religious "God did it" Idea. On a lighter note:

Yeah, I think you did it right.

Hey, it sure beats listening to a talking Anthropomorphic Gecko.

This is exactly why Mythbusters started testing old sayings (turns out you CAN make a balloon out of Lead, it just has to be large, carefully constructed, and you can't touch it directly)

I knew it, to me it seems like they just adapted to their environment, I knew it just had something to do with the lack of sun-protection lotion or something of the sort.

The mind Frick thing, it's not funny, it's a brain teaser that none of us know the answer two. OK, time to end it:1/0/0/0/0/0/0/0/0

Oh, and if you divide zero by zero, you get something that is called indeterminate, or, in simpler terms, YOU CAN GET ANYTHING YOU ****ING WANT!

either the last one is really stupid, or it is really easy to fake being an expert

Rickrolling, still the best revenge against someone who showed you the evil tape from the ring.
or
If you get rickrolled all the time, you can kill them with the tape.

If cats had the same intelligence as we do, they would have taken us over many times by now... (goes to bear hug cat)

That nutcracker only brings back horrible memories, but instead of a fist it was a knee, and it wasn't intentional, but it still hurt in ways.

Bears are really heavy and will easily kill you if you try. If it wasn't for the fact that this is a videogame thing, you'd be dead three times over.
