It actually does more damage than this. Sorry to talk some reality in here but the retaliation is a big problem. How? Well, when Aeris essentially prevented Leo's birth (I think that's there names. It is right?), she essentially created a paradox. Essentially, since she killed Leo (somehow), Leo wouldn't have been born to annoy her to resorting to said action, and thus, she wouldn't go back in time to kill him. since she didn't go back in time, she didn't kill him, and he was still free to annoy her and make her resort to going back in time to kill him. This constant repetition is what a paradox is, and thus, there are two options:
A: you **** the timeline (great, you just destroyed us all you **********!)
B: You actually warped to another dimension, and you still haven't eliminated the thing you were trying to eliminate.
Physics, really ****ing confusing.
