This post contained another ornery, point-by-point dismantling of the preceding posts numerous errors, fallacies, and lack of humor, but I decided to retract it and be a little more gentle. Suffice it to say, console wars are stupid and you should just buy a ****ing PC already.

Nintendo has been selling the same old **** for 15 years because they are the only console maker to survive this long.

Microsoft/EA/Activision have been pushing the same **** for the entire time they have been in the game, but they just haven't been in the game long enough for people to hate that much I guess.

Sony has regrettably ended almost every series that used to define then and now they don't have a single exclusive that sets them apart from Microsoft so they are left to cling to supposedly superior business practices to get an edge.

If Wii U was more powerful it would be the clear winner though. Sony and Microsoft have great graphics and the hype train ends there. Their first party lineup has been proven unstoppable.
