What song is it?

Name of song/Artist please, and a link if possible.

For me, Electric Clouds by po!, a remix of the Corridors of Time theme from Chrono Trigger.

Ahhh this is such a tough one...

Can I edit all my songs on Itunes into one massive song?

None. I couldn't handle it if I could only hear one song for the rest of my life.

I'd cheat. See, one of my favorite albums is Amarok by Mike Oldfield. It's 1:00:02 in length, and is all one track. No separations or any of that. So that would be my choice if I had to pick one. That's like 15-20 times as much music as I'd get with most regular songs, so that's 15-20 times as long that I'll go without getting tired of it.

It makes a lot more sense to pick game music than anything else, considering those are made to be repeated.

Also, we're just better people.

Tough topic, Jam.

I think...I think I have to go with

Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me)

It can serve the purpose of merely a great song to listen to, a good nostalgia song (just feels nostalgic to me), or even just a song to get you energized.

But this was tough. I love music too much, if I had to listen to only one for the rest of my life...I don't think any song could really work. But this would be at least one of my top choices.

Mukti by Remember Shakti. It's an amazing piece that makes good background music for all of life's daily tasks. I'd probably feel better constantly if it was always playing. I can't provide a link, since it's over an hour long, but look it up if you're interested. It's classified as world-fusion. (Inspired from traditional Indian music, as well as jazz.)

Oh Yeah - by Yellow.......... ok not really but the idea would be pretty funny.

I am thinking out loud here so I may contradict myself a few times.

For real I think I'd have to grab something without lyrics, cause I would get tired of hearing the same words over and over again and assuming classical music is out since one song is like forever, I think I would have to go with something from either Bela Fleck and the Flecktones or Explosions in the Sky. (goes through playlist)

Ok a lot of Explosions stuff is either relaxing or depressing and neither of which would be good for the perfect song. Bela Fleck is good but I would want something with a little more excitement. I think I need to revise my initial impulse to ban lyrics.

Elimination Process Method
1.) List all songs you can listen to a lot in a row
2.) Pick favorite song for each band
3.) Eliminate songs that don't have a strong inherent meaning to me personally.
4.) Eliminate down to one
Songs I can listen to several times in a row:

Warning by Incubus
Jesus of Suburbia - Greenday
Won't Get Fooled again by the Who
Baba O'Reiley by the Who
Gainsville Rock City by Less Than Jake
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Don't Stop Me Now by Queen
Beer by Reel Big Fish
Never Gonna Stop By Rob Zombie
You Can't always get what you want by the Rolling stones
Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling stones
Fly by Night by Rush
MacGyver Theme Song
Renegade by Styx
Listen to Her Heart by Tom Petty
The Waiting by Tom Petty
White Unicorn by Wolfmother (for obvious reasons)

Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right, But Three Rights Make A Left by Zebrahead
Riot Girl by Zebrahead
Playmate of the Year by Zebrahead

Top Three - Classic rock ftw
Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling stones
Won't Get Fooled again by the Who
Listen to Her Heart by Tom Petty

Gotta go with Won't Get Fooled again. That song always gets me going.

Sorry I was bored at work and needed to waste some time.
