then she has to upb onto stage
then you just hop right up there and dsmash or fair or dair. then she dies.

I agree with rhan. you have to play the range game against her. OR YOU WILL DIE
after you get some bombs and rangs in then follow up with the nair.
you guys ever jump out of the bair into uair or nair....is so ****. I think i have a match or two of me doin it somewhere.

you fh bair high over their shield so they cant grab you then after ur behind them nair or uair. most ppl will fall for it and release their shield to be hit into the air. follow up with another uair or if you got the nair immediately rang or bomb. then keep it goin

of course u camp, or get under and uair. but there is no way to camp forever against sheik cuz she has good options to get through. but ur aerials are mad fast so u use them to beat her up

the matchup is actually not that bad once u train it

once u learn how to avoid sheik's grabs (reallly predictable, as u know), she cant cg, which is her best option in most situations. at that point, u zone her out with ur superior projectile game until u get her into edgeguard position, which is pretty formulaic

try it out next tourney

Approaching Fox is scary. I normally play that match up with Sheik. I need more fox training lol

i mean, sheiks grab is good noo doubt whatsoever, but after about 70~ or so, its really hard to get anything off even from a d-throw, while yl's nair is pretty much a train that can lead to a kill/edgeguard

sheik still has an advantage, but against a good yl, i would even argue that its closer than 60/40.

she can jump off an fair. ledgehop nair. needles. bairs.
whatever she wants. on stage its closer but seriously it takes us longer to get her off stage than it takes for her.
then the cg and all that bs

I think Sheik can D-throw U-smash YLink if he does anything but DI away (most Sheiks suck and don't do this because they're horrible, it works vs EVERY OTHER CGable character at about that percent, maybe slightly higher). If he DIs away, CG works a lot higher than if you DI up/behind so you might be able to regrab (but I'm not 100% on this one) and even then you can always just toss in a Fair if you're lazy. Plats are easy to follow if you just react and Fair, I don't feel like going over the like 4 things she can do that all make plats okay/great for her combos.

I don't mind you guys saying stuff like "Bombs go through moves, lead to combos, etc." but c'mon. Sheik's grab will kill you or setup some sort of edgeguard at high percents if you get hit by it. That's part of the magic of the move. It almost always works. That's a huge part of why it's amazing.
