i also notice that whenever i double post, a mod edits both my posts together. please refrain from doing this as my double posts are all calculated. if i wanted my posts to be in one i would have done it that way instead. i know the rules so just infract me and move on instead of merging my posts because it ruins them.

sincerely

by creating a stylistic contrast between my posts i can accentuate those with different idiosyncrasies by using the slightest change in punctuation or expression

subtle things only a master of message board usage and literary control can apply

Videos will be up in a few days. They're online--I just need to download the files and then upload them to Youtube. I'm moving into my apartment now, so it may take me a bit.

Ivysaurs Dsmash? Never used it, is it any good?
Not at all; at least, at the moment. Everyone basically sees it as a much slower, -weaker-, single-hit D-Tilt that hits on both sides.

I'm getting really sick of my D-Tilt's first hit being SDI'd accidentally, getting me punished. That, and I think it might make for a good option against a Snake falling to the stage. I wonder what the angle it sends the opponent at is; I'll probably do some proper testing soon with it. If the angle is low enough, it might set up for an Up-B sweetspot on Snake well.

Honestly i'm pretty sure it sends at a very low angle and not nearly high enough to up-b sweetspot with snake

Well, obviously not immediately, but no Snake in his right mind will recover low against Ivysaur, so when they immediately double-jump -> Up-B, you can catch them before they get a chance to release Cypher.

If it's so low that you can't sweetspot an Up-B in that situation, then we may have a better gimping move on our hands than I thought. We can always replace the Up-B with another move that will better punish people.

oh, well you're requiring that you're in position to dsmash them when they're close to the ledge. how often does that happen with ivysaur? especially at higher %s

I mean, on most stages, it would be acceptable for them to be falling anywhere by the absolute middle of the stage. It's a weak move, but if you have them in a position where you can read their airdodge/grenade pull/whatever, they've probably taken a decent amount of damage.

If I remember correctly, dsmash sends them slightly diagonally. I do it a lot to ICs, but since Hylian moved, I don't play the MU anymore.

Wish me luck, everyone!

I get paid.

But Belle's totally my type of girl. I always got mad when the villagefolk called her strange.
