i think people who limit themselves to certain genres no matter which are all-around terrible people

i can tell i'm not going to be your friend if you say "i like everything except rap and country"

its too bad that's what 90% of people say when i ask them what kind of music they like

i also listen to a lot of weird music that i would normally never share with anyone in real life because i'm sort of embarassed about it because no one likes it but me xd

i've been reaaaaally loving arcade fire lately. I've always like them, but i've been listening to them a lot more recently. Mostly tunnels and power out.

If I like it I'll listen to it. I'm not a ***** about music, but I just don't like rap or hiphop. It's just not how I roll.

I'm more of a country and rock person.

I find it funny, it's like music is like religion to people. OK we all have our likes and dislikes. I can tell you all the bands I got on here and almost all of them are ones that people don't really like anymore, I'm gona have guts and say I have alot of albums of All American Rejects, I just like alot of their songs. I also like Sum41, and YellowCard, Rise Against is pretty good. I follow a trend; I like up beat music and these artists got it how I like it. But back to the point, when talking about how you don't like a song artist type of music, you shouldn't shun people *glares are Zig* that just ticks me off and makes me want to punch you in the face for being an *** about it.

However seeing as I know Zig was messing with me, I will spare his face.

What if they say "I like most things but I have yet to find something I like in either rap or country?"

That's me, but you can add a few more genres to that, including metal and "classic rock" (This is like the most ambiguous genre ever, so I might as well point out that I mean bands that are or sound like Queen, but I do like a lot of 60's "classic rock" like late Beatles, The Doors, the Who, the Kinks, etc).

I'm also into some British alternative from the early 90s, including shoegaze.

I like metal and my brother has a band that is actually really, really good. It's called Chemical Theory. Look it up on facebook. It should be the first thing that comes up if you search it. It's symbol is a "T" above a "C" on it's side with a star behind them. They are actually really, really good. Check 'em out.
Edt: His band's not metal, but it's still really, really good.
