Started playing Black tonight, child abuse in my pokemon, I was impressed. Hopefully it means the plot'll be decent and a bit more heavy. Hate not being able to read Japanese, though lukcily two of my mates playing through it speak it so they fill me in on all the important stuff and help with nicknames etc

Also GameFreak are god tier trolls with anti-piracy.

Its going to be pretty intresting to see how that turns out.

Samus is hella underrated. Mostly on our own doing. Bowser's just over/under rated because he smells.

Blaziken swicthes in on something it can take, they switch out while he swords dances, protect next turn as they attack, now you've got a +2 attack +2 speed blaziken that outspeeds a postive nature, max EV, choice scarf base 105.

Hydration Vaporeon seems to be getting a lot of hype. Also, I look forward to using Shanderaa with Shadow Tag. At least until Smogon throws it into Uber

Speaking of Guts, did anybody else notice that while Vaporeon was graced with the amazing Hydration, Flareon once again got the short end of the stick and was given Guts. I swear Game Freak have purposely made Flareon the joke of the family, all it wanted was a good stat distribution and a workable move-pool. It got neither.

Torkoal essentially has no ability, because White Smoke is useless as well.

I'm not so sure MrEh. Sure Torkoal's ability's aren't impressive in the slightest, but with Shell Armor you will at the very least be content with the knowledge that it won't get hit with a lucky critical hit (even though you won't ever know if Shell Armor is actually working or not...). Flareon on the other hand has no use for Guts, or Flash Fire for that matter. It is too slow to put the ability to use, and even if it was fast enough, it just doesn't have the moves to work with.

I played a Pikachu this weekend. He was recovering with Skull Bash, and I just calmly and slowly walked away. And then I reverse uptilted him.

Shell Armor is fairly moot when Torkoal dies in one hit from special attacks regardless of crits, especially if he took SR damage. Torkoal usually doesn't care about random crits from the things he walls, since those random crits aren't enough to break him anyway. (Like hits from Scizor, Weavile, etc)

It's not completely useless, but like White Smoke, it's usefulness is so low that it's like Torkoal doesn't have an ability at all. Seriously, Ninetails got Drought. Torkoal got Shell Armor.
