Sadly nm we can do about that but Smash DI and try to Up B out of it. Surprisingly if we up B out of ftilt lock, Shiek will screw up the timing to try and catch us on landing. Once we've got that bs out of the way it's pretty even. Jab, ftilt, klaw, Up B OoS and grab will be used a lot here. We put up a good fight while we're grounded. It's kind of like the Marth match up. Also if Shiek is trying to combo you in the air, throwing out a neutral air will get you out of it in most occasions. Did you get any matches recorded?

Not against Sheik, but I got sets recorded with Razer, shadowpj, Leaf, Polt, Xyro, and Smoom. My only tourney set that got recorded was vs. Polt.

With Sheik, the best thing to do is to avoid getting Ftilted in the first place. Spam Jabs. Like a madman.

I only went Bowser game 1 on BF and got one-stocked, so I went ROB game 2 on RC and got molested. Then I lost to MK, who just Mach Tornado'd anything I misspaced or had lag. I played super patient but ultimately misspaced crucial attacks last stock. I was really bummed I lost to Sheik because I would've played Ozz next, and Marth is one of my best MUs.
I lost most of my MMs, but I wasn't expecting to at this HOBO. I wanted to play against characters who both beat Bowser and who I have not much experience against.
Smoom challenged me to a MM, and I actually accepted just to get a Bowser-ICs set online. He's the ICs who got 13th at WHOBO. He 2-0'd me, but I took him to last stock high percents both times. It's a death MU and my first time to play ICs as Bowser, so I'm pleased with how I did.
So then RAZER challenged me to a MM. He 2-0'd me as well, but both games were last hit last stock. Everyone was really surprised on the livestream how well I did.
Then Leaf MM'd me. He's the Pikachu I beat at House of Mouse 2-1. This time he beat me 2-1. I wasn't patient enough games 2 and 3 and walked into CGs.
Then Xyro and I had our rematch. I played a LOT better this time around, but so did Xyro. He 3-0'd me, sadly. I honestly just got lucky our first MM that he messed up his tether recovery twice on CS, which got him killed by fsmash twice. Afterwards Xyro and I talked about what to do as a LT player when you go up against garbage MUs in tournament.
Then P4 and I MM'd. His MK 2-0'd me, last stock high percents both times. Again, misspacing cost me, and I got scooped at mid-percents once per game.
Oh, forgot one MM: shadow1pj, a TL, challenged me to a $10 MM AS SOON as I walked into the venue. I told him I'd do $5 since I don't have much MU experience. Game 1 I SD'd last stock. I jumped out to shorthop fair him, and my jump didn't come out. Then I won game 2 and BARELY lost game 3. PJ's hands were shaking after our set.
So later Sync MMs me. He's the MK who got 5th at HOBO 31. I FINALLY spaced the MU right and won 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the one MM set that didn't get recorded. XD But I used that runoff fair GR I discovered the other day, and it still worked.
As far as friendlies go, I played almost all the best players there. Played Gnes for the first time, and I of course got exposed. I did way, way better on BF than Smashville, though. Later I beat Jerm in friendlies, which was hilarious because everyone was watching, and they all gave him sooooo much ****.
In MT/LT singles, I beat C_Spyker, a Peach, 2-0. Then I got 2-0'd by Razer's Fox, who wound up beating both Illmatic and Jerm to win the whole tournament. Then P4 to forfeited to me, and then I got 2-0'd by Polt.
I talked with a lot of the top players at this on how much I hate getting randomly MU ***** at HOBOs and then doing well against top players. Both Jerm and Illmatic recommended I pick up a high tier to learn new stuff to incorporate into my Bowser game and to use in early rounds if I get randomly MU ***** again, then go Bowser against good players.
I know these aren't the results you guys expected, and they're not the ones I wanna give ya, especially after getting top 10 at House of Mouse. I'm sorry for placing last at HOBO for the third time in a row, and I ensure you it won't happen again. Just know if you see a high tier next to Bowser in results threads from now on, it's because I used it in early rounds so I don't get randomly MU ***** yet again. I will NOT drop Bowser and am still a Bowser main.
I'm really looking forward to as much video critiques as possible. I recorded as many sets as I could to benefit both myself and anyone else who's having trouble with some of our harder/odder MUs.

Like MrEh said, the best way to not get FTilted is to...not get FTilted at all. Jab is your best defense, *****clawing **** left and right is the best way to deal with it tbh. lol
To be completely honest with you, you just need to get a lot more practice. Like, you can't expect to run in there doing well if you're not familiar with a lot of matchups/know what characters can do. Just find a way to get practice or something I guess.

I think its kind of funny that Xyro did get the 3-0, no offense. And those results aren't so bad, great job beating Sync! I'll watch the videos but probably more to learn then to critique lmao

On the same day as HOBO, I was at SALT2 in Georgia. Got 13th out of 30th (Okay, I suppose...), playing my typical mixture of DK/Bowser/G&W.
My first loss was to Reflex, 0-2. He wrecked my GDubs and Bowser with Trainer, because of my MU inexperience and his mad skillz. It was very cool to finally play him. I only managed to grab him once with Bowser, for the record.
My second loss was to Neo X (a Wario), 0-2. Tried Bowser/DK against him, but he was floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee, despite my solid efforts. Only got one Bowser grab in this match too. I should have went G&W, but I was (over)confident that my big boys could win. He knows about the chaingrab, but he hasn't perfected it, so I was able to escape with Fortress, at least. I thank you guys for first telling me that.
Anyway, it sucks that you lost your MM with Xyro, Zig, but it's great that you made it in the BBR.
Also, don't feel guilty at all for looking for a better second character to use. Solo Bowser succeeding is practically a myth without extraordinary skill/knowledge gaps and/or an extraordinary bracket (main-wise). The same goes for numerous others.
I believe even KingKong uses MK on the side (correct me if I'm wrong). Regardless, the key is to find someone who is good, but is still someone you'd legitimately enjoy, otherwise competitive play will become a pure chore. Just like you, Zig, Bowser will never fade from my lineup.
