I downloaded a program that was recommended to deal with keyloggers.

I scanned my computer and changed all my passwords after. Hope that will help

It's probably because I tried numerous times to log on from this ****ing hotel and thus Blizzard probably thought it was a hacker or something.

My Prot paly can *almost* solo malygos enough to get into phase 2 (at which point it's a cakewalk) on live. In beta prot paladins have access to some rather nice heal changes so gave it a try!

Didn't make a scratch in his scales. Ugh ugh ugh.

I looked up Malygos, but I don't understand where he's a boss? Was he the one you fought while riding those dragons or something?

Currently reinstalling WoW! I have no idea what I intend to do once I get the free 7 days ._.

Now that I can view my account history again, I started in Oct 28, 2005. Looks like I stopped in late January, and restarted early May 2006. I have a couple week+ breaks in there until I stop again Dec 27, 2006. Start again April 2007, then I stop September 2007 and that's where I have my really long break. I next start January 2010 until September 2010, and that's when I was on smashboards and got the beta invite near the end there. The only reason I restarted in the first place is because Blizzard gave away that free 10 days, and then I found myself having fun playing Rogue and Priest in WotLK :x
Also on Sept 22, 2010, there's a 1 Month Referral Reward and I feel like that was probably the hackers >_>


I can still remember most of my keybindings, especially for Pally since I played so many of them.

[/collapse]I remember I kept my Rogue hotkeys as similar to Pally ones as I could. Like, 5 was stun, 4 was finishing move type thing, yeah. I can't really remember my rogue ones right now, but I'm pretty sure most of my stuff is saved.


God this game is going to be so weird to play. I'm going to be terrible at playing my pallies because they've undergone huge changes. It's strange to think of me, someone that reveled in pallies when they were at their weakest, will be bad at playing the class now.


edit: either I'm blind, or running this game on my monitor's default resolution (1680x1050) makes everything way too tiny

This is overwhelming btw. I can't even remember most of the hotkeys for some of the menu thingies. And they removed weapon skills, so you no longer need to pointlessly grind up axes/swords etc right? I'm gonna need to remember how expertise works and stuff o_o


By the way, am I seeing this right? The WoW started edition lets you play up to level 70...? I thought it was 20.

Weapon skills are no longer in.
Also lockpicking on rogues is no longer needed to raise as it does it on its own as you level.
This really pissed me off when I came back, because I spent countless hours next to the sunken temple unlocking **** underwater...

I know the feeling. I leveled my rogue in WotLK. I remember wandering around freaking Wetlands looking for a certain level of lockbox.

I must say I agree, it was a pretty quick download, considering I downloaded all of WoW, TBC, and WotLK. I think.

You gotta quest to get to the Malestrom. It's part of the Vash'jir questline.

You can fly in major cities after you get the flying license for Azeroth. It's like 250 gold.

Yeah and trust me, they do investigate.

A guildie had his account frozen multiple times for "making extremely large transactions"

He ticketed them and they unfroze it the first few times, but the 4th time it happened they did not restore his gold because he had referred to the person who he bought stuff from as a gold farmer in guild chat...

he lost around 500,000 gold for that.

Man I dunno what to do in WoW. I'm glad I got a free upgrade to Cataclysm, but lol now what? I don't have time to make a new character, and playing my old characters is ehhhh unappealing. The only thing I intend to do is explore, and go places like Twilight Highlands and Hyjal since I've never been there.
