Are they way better than they were in WotLK?
I had a ton of fun playing my rogue in that, but I wouldn't say he's OP.
God, I remember (tbc? i think? maybe vanilla..?) when I leveled a rogue to like the 30s (39 probably) and did battlegrounds... I went garrote + rupture + crippling poison + deadly poison, then ran away and shot them with my gun. It was SO SATISFYING to kill people like that.
But then I think they added EXP to battlegrounds or something, memory's fuzzy. I think you can turn it off or something? >_>
Yup. You get exp from battlegrounds, and if you turn off exp, you'll only fight other people who have also turned off pvp. Designed to reduce the grief from low level pvp with twinks 1-shotting everything and the claim 'we only twink to fight other twinks' fell apart. But then I think they added EXP to battlegrounds or something, memory's fuzzy. I hadn't heard of this.Yup. You get exp from battlegrounds, and if you turn off exp, you'll only fight other people who have also turned off pvp. Designed to reduce the grief from low level pvp with twinks 1-shotting everything and the claim 'we only twink to fight other twinks' fell apart.
Dunno about the warlock one, but holy Power works a bit like combo points, but there's only 3, and the points are on you, not an enemy. The basic 'melee attack' and (For Prot)'aoe melee attack' generate 1 holy power. There's 3 spells that consume them, one heals you for X for each holy power, one that buffs your damage for 4 secs per charge and one that does damage, X per charge. Each spec has a couple of different spells that use/generate them, but I'm only a tank, so i don't know the others.Man so much crap changed in Cata that I don't even know. I still don't understand how pally's holy power or warlock's whatever new system works.
Combat is the best spec for PvE, hands down.Do any of you rogues use combat???
ive always had a problem using it... it just seems unfitting for a rogue to me
I use Assassination for pve and Sublety for pvp...
also i hate heroic zulgurub...
ya im seriously thinking about dropping assassinationCombat is the best spec for PvE, hands down.
The only thing I don't like about it is when Combat Potency doesn't proc enough, and thus my energy is down in the gutters because Sinister Strike and Revealing Strike cost so bloody much.
Assassination is by far the worst spec for rogues. The damage is laughable and the only benefit is that Envenom isn't mitigated by armour.
hahahaha I just remembered how people used to complain about having to level alts, but why it was ALWAYS a bad idea to get a "free" max level character xDhey guys i just got SoR'd by a friend and i havent played in a long *** time, rolling sub rogue (played pala when cata came out and havent played rogue since BC) and since it jumped me to 80 i want a rundown of what i should be doing generally
i agree...hahahaha I just remembered how people used to complain about having to level alts, but why it was ALWAYS a bad idea to get a "free" max level character xD
Suddenly having a max level of a class I haven't played before would be an absolute nightmare for me. As "easy" as this game is, it does take some learning.
Hell, I would have difficulty jumping into any class now, with how much even the ones I"ve played have changed.
female blood elves, undead, draenei, night elves and humans...where are the twigs?
Female Draenei have REALLY nice looking tailsfemale blood elves, undead, draenei, night elves and humans
omg so close to teh red protodrake =D
Ololololololololol. Disarm? With perks? This class is shaping up to be cool as hell.Grapple Weapon
40 yard range, Instant, 1 min cooldown
You fire off a rope spear, grappling the target's weapon and shield, returning them to you. Depending on the quality of the weapon, your damage done, healing done, and damage reduction may be increased.
