Clowsui's New Year's Bash Winner's Finals
Game 1: AlphaZealot (Diddy Kong) vs Quivo (Toon Link): Battlefield
Game 2: AlphaZealot (Diddy Kong) vs Quivo (Toon Link): Final Destination
Game 3: AlphaZealot (Diddy Kong) vs Quivo (Toon Link): Final Destination

Quivo had my number this set, but all the matches were basically coin flips. Not sure how many judgments should be made from this considering how often we play together, but good **** to Quivo none-the-less.

Speaking strickly from the TL perspective, Quivo was getting past me (once again) with the Z-air. However, it was mainly his mix ups of projectiles/Z-air approach that was really throwing me off.

AlphaZealot got predictable in the first match.
He loves side-b too much, and got usmashed for pretty much every stock.

Throughout these vids, Quivo tries to Uair Zealot in his lag or after an air dodge but touches the ground before the hitbox even comes out. Most of them would have been kills otherwise.

Also, edgeguarding

Thanks guys. Btw, if I did a short hop uair, it might've been by accident...

Diddy's over b used to be really good vs me, but I kind of expect it now. I don't know why, but edgeguarding AZ is hard. I usually just throw stuff at him and try to follow up if i can.

Thanks chaos.

I'm kinda disappointed with myself though.

In doubles AZ and I made it to grand finals and beating kel/sliq 3-0.
They come back from losers bracket and end up beating us..

Then in singles I beat OS 2-1 in winners semi finals. Then beating AZ in winners
In grand finals I get 3-0'ed first set by OS, then 3-2'ed by OS.

Epic Fail

No i didn't get 3 stocked, but I did get jv 3'ed once and 2 stocked in the first set of Grand Finals.

When I say 3-0, i mean he beat me 3 games while I didn't take a game off him.

The 2nd set we were close in all the matches iirc.

Who did OS play as? Nice videos with AZ. Seems a lot like me and my friends. Ill get them down to 1 stock they make a come back and most of the time I finish but I gotta find a way to just finish that last stock off sooner.
