I saw it on the virtual console just today, i already own an original cartage copy myself. For those of you that never played it you REALLY should. Its one of those games that similar to chrono trigger, its a timeless classic.

You mean like winning the tourney with the character or playing the whole way through? Count me in this tourney. Hows this gonna work (my first online tourney). Am i gonna get PM'd by you telling me which FC's to enter or what?... and as for cape stalling, can you cape stall for 6 sec. in one point in the match then 2 min. later or so stall for 7 sec.?

Yoshi wasn't one of the five playable characters. Sure, you could ride him (like a pony) on Yo'ster Isle but he never really took part in fights (aside from Yoshi cookies).

Yes but you will be on the waiting list unless another 31 people sign up. 32 people signed up in less than two days so it's very possible.
Also, what does rule 1 mean? (I meant the part including Mario, Geno, and Peach only. Final Destination)
Also, I think Final Destination should be 'Final Showdown with Smithy.' Also, just curious, but how come Halberd isn't included? Halberd = Axel Ranger's ship. XD

Mario, Geno, and Peach only, Final Destination is my spin of "No items, Fox only, Final Destination" because Mario, Geno, and Peach was basically the best team in SMRPG with the right equipment.
Halberd is included and represents the Axem Ranger's ship, Ax, in this tournament.

Okay, one vote for Saturday. Like I said before, this will go all weekend if 64 people sign up. I'll have 5 days to set up the brackets and times so things should still stay organized. If this tournament reaches 64 people, it will be the biggest online tournament SWF has ever had!

Hahaha. Well I doubt I'll win among the likes of Mmac and Overswarm. It's fun to try though! Honestly, I'd say Kanzaki has the best chance of winning with Mario. He's pretty good.

Ok, I vote Saturday and I think I have a shot. The pros aren't used to the perils of online play. There is sometimes a little button lag you have to get used to.

The winner of each bracket will fight each other in the finals. I'm thinking about doing a mini-tournament among the Jinx bracket so they aren't entirely screwed out of competition if we don't get another 26 people. (Which we probably won't.)
