do u know wat happened to make it become that way?my wii is so messed up
i can't even play it anymore
when i turn it on it says "system files corrupted. consult wii instructions manual for troubleshooting help."
this pisses me off so bad. i called nintendo and in about a month i'll have it back, fixed. a month without my wii. what the f*ck.
The Emmys are all preplaned and staged. Do listen to that hollywood crap.Hey guys, hear about this? The PS3 Sixaxis is getting an Emmy... after ripping off the Wiimote, and poorly at that.
Forgive me. I was just posting what I heard. I've honestly never heard any bad stuff about Wii remotes except for stuff in this thread. I'm not being a Wii fanboy. >_<Buzz, even though this is a Wii thread, that doesn't mean we have to be complete Wii fanboys. My remote has a tendency of glitching out from time to time, not turning on normally. It's not just SIXAXIS controllers, that's just mean to say.
I was posting in accordance with the PS3 controller supposedly receiving an Emmy (WTF?).That's cool, but it felt like you were posting anti-Sony news just ...because.
Really?Would you mind pointing me in the direction of first party Sony games that contain "sex, blood, guns, drugs, and cars"?Paranoid's just talking about how most video games now are just about the pretty graphics as opposed to the actual gameplay. This is why I'm a Nintendo fanboy, because I enjoy having a good time with games, not just looking at them (although Zelda...)
To be fair, it does seem that a lot of Sony and M$'s thoughts are somewhat like 'This game has sex, blood, guns, drugs, and cars. Therefore, it must be good.
here's EXACTLY what happened:do u know wat happened to make it become that way?
I stated the first part (about M$ and Sony only caring about violence etcetra) in agreement with whoever brought it up, then I said the whole thing about the 3rd party and dev teams so as to shine light on both cases. Sorry I confused you.Chill said:To sensai: You said that Sony and Msoft seem to only care about violence. Then say it's not their fault but the 3rd parties..but they shouldn't censor it anyways. You can count me among the confused.
It was probably an Elebits map or a message, because the News Channel has been slated for a Jan 27 release. It might debut a little bit earlier than Jan 27, but not two and a half weeks early. That would be so unlike Nintendo. <_<Yeah... I got back from the furniture store (looking for bars) and I went back to my WII (yay Elebits!) and when I tried to turn my wii off of Standby, it wouldn't turn on! I have a secksy blue glow, btw. So it could be an update!
*my friend tried sending me an elebits "map", so that could be it...
I'll edit when I figure out what it is, NEWS CHANNEL, PERHAPS?!?!
Edit: sorry to get whoever read that excited... just need to unplug and re-plug my wii!
Somewhat cryptic, eh? Well, let's analyze a tad, shall we?IGN said:As of right now there's no announcement of any online FPS for Wii though. The cat is pretty much out of the bag as far as why no games were online at launch, and if you're late to the party we can catch you up by simply saying "Nintendo wasn't ready" and leave it at that, but we also know that online is on the way, and from the sounds of it the Wii will be getting some support. Obviously our mouths are sealed right now, but let's just say we're hearing rumblings of Wii-specific versions of at least one of the main FPS franchises out there. Oh, and when we say "Wii-specific" we don't mean tacked on controls that claim to make it a new experience. We're talking an immersive, competitive experience built from the ground up for Wii. Here's hoping everything works out as planned, as I look forward to be fragging each and every one of you ASAP.
IGN said:To be more specific, I expect full world ranking, online leaderboards, and Nintendo-supported Smash Bros. tournaments when all is said and done.
