"Also many other great things?"Well it is a very good game you can play it for a long time, there is over 60 instruments, and online play, also many other great things.
Well it has unlockable songs such as:"Also many other great things?"
If that's the case, why didn't you list them? I'll admit I'm biased (I think the game looks like garbage), but it sounds to me like you couldn't think of any other good things to say.
Aslo you can double bass very easy it is all one bass, but tap foot fast you are good with itThis game does look interesting. I wonder if it would be possible to inhibit a double-bass pedal function for the drums. Though, that would probably take two Wii Boards to be able to accompany both the pedals and the hi-hat control. Either way, the possibilties seem very interesting, i'll have to try it out for myself.
Yeah, that's what we need, the Mario Bros. theme with 32nd notes on the bass drum. This game does look interesting. Not sure, but I need to try it.I have one question. Can you play all the seperate instruments individually then put them together? For example. I play the drums for Zelda. Then I play the shamysen for Zelda, then I play the banjo for Zelda etc. Then Can I put those parts together to make one song? If so I'll buy this right away!
Upside down? I'd say close to apocalypse...Hardcore fans enjoying Wii Music?
This is MADNESS! My world is literately upside down. :O
Exactly. Wii Music is not a game, it's a toy. Miyamoto said that himself.since when was wii music a game? ive been a big nintendo since i got a NES when i was 5 but i would most likely never touch wii music.
I agree. I hate music games, but hearing of Wii Music made me want to vomit, stupidity and pointlessness of music games aside. At least Rock Band/Guitar Hero try to kind of simulate the instruments (funny that's coming from me, since I'm always talking about how playing those games is nothing like playing a real instrument). Wii Music...what was it, two buttons to play the Saxophone?Wii music looks and sounds like garbage. I'll admit that I'm biased against all games like this because I'm such an elitist when it comes to playing music, but I would sooner play Rock Band than Wii Music because at least Rock Band has a somewhat decent tracklist.
Oh well. Complaining aside, this game is good. Where else can you play Minuet in G Minor with an electric guitar solo?
THANK YOU SKYLER, YOU WIN.A real guitar.
Yeah, precisely. People act like Wii Music is revolutionary, yet it's not...at all. It brings NOTHING new to the table.Having ANY proficiency with a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) completely nullifies the whole "play a bunch of different instruments" thing. Plus you can write whatever you want.
Wii Music is like Guitar Hero, without the skill element and any semblance of trying to emulate an actual instrument.
Yeah, that's another thing. I need to get some more stuff for my 360, as well as some great classic games (mainly Super Mario RPG), not to mention other little things. Oh, and I also want to purchase a Dreamcast, a Saturn, and an NES (not to mention other things like the Nomad, but those three I listed are actually in grasp). So yeah, the last thing I really need to spend my music on is Wii Music, and that's if I really thought it was worth it.I suppose if we're listing the reasons why we won't be purchasing Wii Music, I'll list a few of my own...
1. Fallout 3
2. Dead Space
3. Resistance 2
4. Eternal Sonata
5. Tales of Symphonia: DotNW
6. de Blob
7. Wario Land: Shake It!
8. Gears of War 2
9. Chrono Trigger
10. Rock Band 2/ Guitar Hero World Tour
...In short, there is just so much more software out there that I need to buy before I would even think about plopping $50 down for Wii Music. Maybe if it were $30 instead, or like Firus said, if it came with something to sweeten the deal. But as it stands, I can turn around and use that $50 so much better than this game, and there's ten reasons right there for clues as to how.
Oh, and 11. I'm getting married November 8th. That's a money-suck right there.

Thank you. Thus begins the rest of my life... Luckily she's a gamer too, though, so all is well.Cungratz.
I can't say with any certainty how large the game is, but if it had come out as a WiiWare title I think the industry as a whole would've been alot kinder. Then it would've been just a $15 diversion, a neat noisemaker that would've fit well with the quirky WiiWare content we've been seeing lately.Rigor Mortis said:Yeah this time of year is big for gaming, if only wii music was wiiware...
Yeah, that's great. You're a lucky man.Thank you. Thus begins the rest of my life... Luckily she's a gamer too, though, so all is well.
I agree; WiiWare was a good idea. Instead of trying to actually sell titles lacking in length and content, they can sell them for a more reasonable price. But they really need to use it more, because they're still releasing too many games that aren't worth $50 regularly. In all honesty, I think every "Wii" game belongs on WiiWare (alone, anyways). Wii Sports was fine because it came with the Wii. Wii Play was worth it because it was basically $10. Wii Fit was semi-worth it because it's the only way to get the Balance Board (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong), and if/when you can buy it separately it'll probably be a Wii Play in which you end up actually spending little money on the game. But Wii Music...it doesn't come with anything, so you spend the full $50 on a game that's really not worth that much.I can't say with any certainty how large the game is, but if it had come out as a WiiWare title I think the industry as a whole would've been alot kinder. Ok, then why did you even come into this thread? Just to bash Wii Music? Oh, that's real nice. A bunch of people trying to discuss their experiences with the game and you just come out of nowhere to tell us how unremarkable it is.Yeah, precisely. People act like Wii Music is revolutionary, yet it's not...at all. It brings NOTHING new to the table.
Your second part defines Wii Music precisely. As someone who played the Saxophone, I can say confidently without ever playing the game that the simulation of it sucks if it's pressing two buttons. There's no way around it.
I really hate it when people post just to talk about what they hate. That's kinda funny, because he said several times that he is a musical person and thats the reason that he hates the game.
And you're on the internet. You can't really expect a discussion about WiiMusic to go without WM haters, can you?
No, that's not much of a comparison. A better comparison would be walking into a round-table discussion about candy, and complaining that you don't like candy. At which point everyone could continue discussing candy. These are discussion threads, for better or for worse.I really hate it when people post just to talk about what they hate.
That's like walking into a candy store and complaining that you don't like candy and you can't find anything else.
You are IN the candy store (this thread), which implies that you had some sort of hope for this game. Why do you walk into a situation where all you want to do is complain.
Argh, beaten by logic and politeness. Dark you derek.haines! I don't like reality. No, that's not much of a comparison. A better comparison would be walking into a round-table discussion about candy, and complaining that you don't like candy. At which point everyone could continue discussing candy. I'm sure there's a place online for only pro-Wii Music discussion, and I'm sure that's a great place to avoid any negative commentary. But the fact of the matter is that these threads on this forum continue to foster discussion, not just blind fanboyism--for the most part, that is.
Rather than complain that we don't like it, why not tell us why we should? Discuss with us, not against us. It's all in good fun, really.![]()
