I can host Saturday if people want to come earlier, and can house peeps as well if needed.

I would also be really in favor in going to the tourney in IL. Anyone else want to go?

I'm staying up all night studying. Been at it for hours now, but at least there's an end in sight, 9.5 hours until my first final.

And I'm relatively proud of myself, I haven't really lost focus besides the last couple minutes or so, just need a mental break. =\

yea you got the short end of that stick. im done as hell with math forever. the most complicated **** ive had to worry about all year is slopes and basic algebra, i love it.

kinda pissed though, this finals week would be easy as hell if i didnt come down with a nasty *** cold on tuesday, which is still lingering right now. ive downed a bottle of dayquil and taken like 10,000 mg of vitamin c in the past 3 days :(

*sigh* I wish I didn't take this game so seriously.

outside of our little "group" who goes to tourneys. Everyone else who plays smash casually hates on competitive play and gives respect to nobody.

it honestly irritates the **** outta me, but w/e its how everyone is now. So maybe I should just stop.

Yea that's pretty gross steve
To be fair discrete math is really not all that much math, it's a lot of counting, recurrence relations, and logical expressions, with lots of other random topics thrown in.

I am studying for calc 2 final also though, so eh, that one is gonna be tough.

haha **** calc 2. worst calc. are you moving on to 3 after this? discrete math actually sounds kinda fun, sounds a bit like abstract. lots of writing though, that class made me learn to love proofs.

Yeah if I do well in this class, as in pass it with a C or higher, I'm going to add a math minor and take calc 3, a couple stats courses, and call it good, lol.

Calc 2 isn't bad once you get past the infinite sequences/series. I thought calc 3 was harder, but that might be because I had a ****ty prof.

So... is there a smashfest/tourney at matt's tomorrow or over at Exarch's?

3/4 done with mine. Still have Calc 1 to do. I intend to be a math/physics major and I am already behind my math level when coming to college lol Figured it out.

Offhand I'd say a u substitution for u=x^2 would probably work. Or something like that: x^2+1? That's probably it.

That's just a guess; it's been so long since I've done anything calc related so I can't say definitely from looking at it whether that'd be the right way to go.

Also don't remember what's covered in calc 1/2/3 individually; so you may have never heard of u subs before.

Also infinite sequences and series sucked cause there were so many tests to remember. That's not easy when you don't pay attention in class. At least Calc 3 was like calc 1 repeat.

Quaz: Just remember we're cooler than everyone else.

EDIT: Erik, was I anywhere close? Gotta keep track of these old unused skills!
Also: LOL College finals.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELLO MADISON SMASHERS

I need your full name, number, email and address.
I'm creating a group for the university and I'm going to find a ****load of people, actually really funny person I found , marth main that ONLY WAVEDASHES and foward smashes, he says no one sees it coming, lol. anyways, you can post here on smashboards, or send me a message on facebook- Ryan Daleccio, or send me a text to 414-544-1401. I don't care how, just do it.

We will start this organization sometime late janurary and get some **** going, I plan to have 30 peopleish for this. NEWS TO EVERYONE: most people like playing these three games, its should be fun meeting people, if they want to be serious like me, they can go to tournaments, if not, sure, join once a month and play for lol's instead of drinking, noob freindily, its more of like introducing the game to people and having fun. Still working on bring setups, as actually this is easier then I thought it would be, but finding a venue will take some time.

So this is just a stepping stone, and I plan to work this out more, so we can have more info. if it fails, i tried.

I have heard of it lol I had to use that eventually, but the key was trying to remember that the "inverse tangent" is the integral of 1/{X^2+1}.

I figured it out before Culvers gave me a great tool to abuse :bee: But the answers were only somewhat similar.
