Fox had moveset potential cause of stuff like... I dunno, lasers from arwings?
reflector might come from Barrel rolling, Fire fox from...er when you enter the secret stage?

Falcon never left his machine, but fox did...to those who could beat hard mode in 64

I had no idea who Captain Falcon was.
First time I saw him was in Melee, and all I knew was that he was an annoying man who said Falcon before everything.
I called him cheap.
Wow, that was WAY back then.

Ness was also a bit HUH? for me.
I had never even heard of earthbound, much less played it.
I knew Jiggz, and I always liked Luigi better.

Everyone needs to stop saying "Falcon cuz he didn't have a moveset" or "Falcon cuz he was in a racing game".

Seriously, that isn't the reason falcon would be considered a WTF character. Fox didn't have a moveset either...

The only reason Falcon would be a wtf character is due to his small fan base for his games.

Actually he's someone who thrives to bounty hunt and races for money. At least I think that's how he goes. His main occupation is bounty hunter though.

To us North Americans, Ness and Jigglypuff may have seem random but they had massive followings in Japan so they weren't really WTF characters to the target audience. Captain falcon is the only one who kinda came out of nowhere.

Jigglypuff. No importance in the games & she only had a minor role in the anime. At least Ness & Captain Falcon were important in their games.
