heck ya it is im probably not going to be in much, if any, tourneys, so i could care less about "tournament legal" who cares if its a hazard, it makes it more interesting. i like it bridge of eldin best, isle delfino second(mute city was always my favorite in melee), battlefield third, lylat cruise 4th, smashville 5th, and yoshi's island last(looks really boring)

the dog (don't know his name) has his own signature song i don't play AC but i know that

also the normal song will probably be the normal village song which i believe is peaceful

Nintendo doesn't go to the Tokyo Game show. they only did it once, to show off the Wii-motes.

the only place it could pop up is Leipzig Convention or E for All

however, there could be a high possibility an exclusive nintendo event, maybe in the same fashion of Diamond and Pearl, happening between Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Galaxy. just a thought

Ok so we got an animal crossing stage, this alone confirms a Animal crossing character, cause the leaf symbol is there and all...

anyway I have 0 to no expericne with animal crossing, but the top 4 pics of characters I know are:

Tom Nook
The human
the dog
and resseti

and ALL of these characters are part of the background minus resseti, tom nook can be seen in the 1st screenshot, the human can be seen on the 2nd/3rd, and the dog is part of the 8pm saturday concert thingy... so unless I'm wrong resseti has a pretty good chance...

... Just because he has no legs he cant be in??... Dude cmon a character doesnt have to be 100% humanoid to be in smash, he doesnt have any legs? then more punch moves or something...

IDK I like resseti...

Ok, KK is the dogs name. He plays over sixty songs, any genre. My fav is KK techno, which is dance music. He raps, sings country, rock, anything.

I think it'll be K.K. Slider (the dog) seeing as how you have to play at an EXACT time to even see him, maybe you'll get challenged by him after he plays his song :D After all, he WAS a trophy back in SSBM!

Why not colbus? I mean it would make sense a stage with its own symbol and no character?

Why dont they just put the melee symbol like they did with wright? thats like goroh gettin the falcon symbol and capt. falcon doesnt make it in for whatever reason...

The AC series is very popular and Im sure at least ONE AC character is gettin in...

Well, if you look at Melee, how many levels were there that had no character representation? (not including the ones made up just for the game like FD)

i think because Simcity is Maxis property, but wright is nintendo, so he had nothing really for rep so they gave him the smash symbol for good measure. plus he's an item, whereas a stage, and especially THIS stage, gives enough rep of itself for it's own emblem.

i know the series is popular, but i don't see potential in an AC fighter. don't get me wrong, i love this stage, but keep them in the background

Theyre arent any, there are exclusive stages being the smash stages, and thats it, the rest do have a character representation, point is they added a stage of an existing series and even its own symbol, not adding a character would be kinda weird...

Colbus: So? Gorh is an item too and he got the F zero symbol... anyway true im not afan of AC, but I say the things like I see them and seeing how theres and AC stage, having its own symbol, im bettin were having at least ONE AC character, go resseti!

Just so anyone doesn't know, the symbol of Animal Crossing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is identical to the symbol representing a piece of furniture in your inventory.

It's a brawling, battling, action-packed video game that features a varied roster of characters for four-player simultaneous melees! Read that out for me pl0x.

a VARIED roster, meaning ANYTHING and ANYONE can be possible. If you don't see potential in an AC fighter, why is Yoshi in? He just swallows fruits and licks people..WHY ARE THE ICE CLIMBERS IN MELEE????

This update now opens us to more possibilities of characters. I do not support AC characters and I do not hate them. I think they are just fine.

They will most likely just have like a golden shovel item, or a Nook AT.

that's how i see them, just an AT character. maybe they don't have a playable character, but because they have a stage, and possibly an item or two along with AT, maybe that was enough merit for their own emblem, where Dr. Wright is by himself and didn't really need his own emblem

Coldbusman...I'm trying to tell you, a character doesn't need to have potential. Lokk at Game and Watch...I would of NEVER though of him getting into Melee...

I'm pretty sure someone mention this before

Dr. Wright didn't get a symbol because there was no planned stage/character from the Sims series. Plus when was the last time you used a item in either smash bros. games and you saw its symbol?

Smashville is a stage and since it's just not a basic stage completely dedicated to Smash Bros. (Such as Final Destination and Battle Field from Melee). When you select a level you see a symbol representing it. Animal Crossing is a worthy Nintendo franchise to be included in Smash Bros.

This only leaves us in the dark if we are getting AC items or even a playable character from the series.

It's wait and see at the moment. :D

We all love AC and it's cuteness, but they know they have have a rooster full of characters we will play as for years to come. And Tom just dosn'r seem to make cut. So they give him a lvl and maybe a AT and thats good enough for me.
