What you do instead of taunting after a KO

Toon Link's down taunt (I know you said beside taunting, but that's all I do)
If I'm not Toon Link, then I'll have Meta Knight and I'll press and hold A to mimic's Toon Link's down taunt. I also like to say "Fight Me!"

Most of the characters I play have something useful to do when the enemy is gone.

Pull turnips, pull pikmin, take out a banana, charge B move..

With Wario, if I killed my opponent with a fart, I squeeze out a tiny fart. if not, I run forward'n backwards since he looks awesome while turning ;D

With Wolf I just jump back'n forth.

with olimar i usually just pluck pikmin. occasionally i kill them all by tossing them off the edge when im just messing around

With DeDeDe I crouch.

With Kirby I crouch and stand to make that sound everyone hates, or move front then back which has a weirdly cool dance look to it.

With Captain Falcon I just Falcon Punch the air and remember the days when he used to ****. Rarely do this one, since I almost always taunt with Falcon. "SHOW ME YOUR BOOBS!"

Haha, thats a good question.
i usually taunt, but i have my reasoning.
it seems if someone kills themself, or you get an easy kill, and then you just use a taunt over and over and say "MINDGAMEZ" it really pisses them off and makes them reckless.
If im not frustrating people then im probably charging my needles (sheik is my secondary)
or i drop a bomb onto a platform or onto the edge with link.

If I'm playing online, I always taunt to see my taunt comments. Offline, I just stand there, motionless, facing whatever direction I may be in. Remember how the computer would do that in Melee? You'd get KO'd and the computer would just stop instantly and would NOT MOVE until you reappeared on the stage, no longer standing on the revival platform. That always rubbed me the wrong way.

Make no mistake; a taunt, carefully chosen, is my standby for this scenario.

Spam the hell out of Game & Watch's bell (alternative pointing up and forwards).

In Melee, whenever I would KO my friend on Temple with G&W, I would jump to the top tier of the rightmost side of the map and spam the bell like hell. It disoriented him enough that I was usually able to land a couple more KO's without taking any myself.

Well as Peach, I would just slowly walk along the bottom of the stage, so that she skips and I maybe do it back and fourth a litte

As Wario, I get on my bike the taunt and either throw the bike off the edge or eat it

As Sonic, yeah run back and fourth

As kirby, I just do a bunch of U-airs, I don't know why

As Lucas, I sometimes jump off-stage and grab the ledge with my rope snake. Usually I just taunt though.

Dedede, crouch. Its as good as a taunt in its own right.

Lucario or R.O.B., charge Auara Sphere/Gyro.

For most of the others, I just taunt.
