What Live stock do they eat in the world of pokemon

Like seriously You see some like steak on a bone in some episodes(Exact ones I cant recall) and it makes you wonder what kinda of animals do they eat are they pokemon or are they cows and chickens? but why are there Cow like pokemon that produce milk. Do the humans eat them? What do you guys think?

Normally I'd go with the "He never techically fights an Elite 4 member but a rival in a tornament," but that's being nitpicky.
