I jumped to the last page of this thread....without looking at the first post....I'm going to guess it wasn't about Paper Mario....

But, what can I say. I'm a Geno fanboy too.

GO GENO!!!

To bring a bit of normality back:

I waveshined my friend's Peach across PS1 and then messed up on literally the edge and did a Firefox. The Peach was shielding, and I don't know if you know this, but Firefox's surrounding frames in a certain position wrecks shields. Boom, Shield Break. Because the waveshine across the stage to firefox shield break was so awesome, my friend named it Blistering Speed because of t3h ph13r.

to play homage to the Wu-Tang Clan Members, The RZA and The GZA.

I use the N as a symbol that represents Ness and my first name which also starts with an N

I made this name up in 3 minutes when I was asked what my smash name was.
"Alex" seemed too plain.

I really need to change it.

@ Zage: Your signiture looks familiar. Also, I just stuck with the characters original names. Did you make or play a hack?

@ The_NZA: That's actually pretty cool.

@ Straked: In three minutes? Also, I changed my name like three times.

Bah, defaults are so boring in games. Name em after your friends :p

Mik! (me)
Gabby (really sweet friend of mine)
Josh (really smart friend of mine)
V-Rek (bro's nickname)

Uffe, what were your other names in the first place?

Yeah, I desperately needed a name. PK Alex sounded lame since that was my first tournament.
Straked was the name for some online pet game an old friend of mine gave me and I thought "Why not?".

Uffe is the best, in my opinion. x.x
Even though I can't pronounce it so I stutter to myself saying "OOF". or "UFF".

I seriously read every single post on this thread. I lol'd when it turned to paper mario.

LUC = latin root for light / short for Lucario
AMY = Old friends name / anagram for yam <3 / skewed spelling of latin root for love (ami/amo)
I = ??? I just thought it would make it better

Even though it gets mispronounced and mocked (I shouldn't have added the "I"), I'm sticking to this name. In fact, I'm giving people the option of how to pronounce it.

i-loo-suh-mee
or
i-loo-kom-ee

I figured both sounded pretty good.

.....:yoshi: was the best partner..... don't deny it.

Oh gawd, here we go again. YOshi ***** anything without defense, but since he hit multiple times weak each time, his damage output could be diminished by tons or even nullified completely. On bosses, there really was nothing to spit at either.

*tries to steer back on topic*

So u like Latin names? It seems foreign names are whats cool these days.

Foreign names are cool, but I've never had any interest in European origin other than latin. I would do Japanese but I don't want the name to sound weird in english or vice versa (I also don't want to be taken as an anime/manga obsessive and a Japanese wannabe)

My Yoshi was pink and I named him Togepi ^^
I just pumped him up with all the attack boosters I could find so he would do like 20 damage with each ground pound (lol wasted all my BP on that).
