Yoshi becomes broken the more you start to stat boost though. With the Crystal Star Power that increases your Attack/Defense he becomes the single most powerful team member you can have. Bombette was never as useful as Bobbery, she's low tier by far. Sushi was **** just because of here Defense Boosting ability. Mario with Quick Change swapping between Watt and Sushi for Defense/Offense boosts was too good. He's even more broken in TTYD where he can stack Badges. 3 Power Smash badges and you were basically set for the rest of the game.
Watt was god tier in 64, but then there's still the fact that nothing is more broken than Mario himself with the right combination of badges. Zap Tap for best badge ever.

And for the flippin life of me I hardly remember ANYTHING about Watt. All i remember is I used him lots with the fish thing and Bombette. late game Im pretty sure Kooper had more screen time.
I still dont see what made PKY great. I tried to love him and use him but I could never find a good place for him.

True. Lucky Day + Pretty Lucky Badges = Mario not ever getting hit. Ever. With a stat bonus at the start of each battle.

Watt is a female btw.
She's obviously amazing against heavy defense enemies and is basically the Vivian of the first game, great, but not the best. In all honesty Bow/Gombario were better in 64 if used properly and Yoshi was better in TTYD.
Edit: Also, zap tap was seriously the best badge in the game. It deals damage to anything that attacks you directly AND makes you impervious to the Swooper/Fuzzie family. That's pretty **** right there. Too bad they nerfed it in TTYD.

Fixed a bit more things, and wow tier list change so rapidly... I've decided that Bow is just the best partner ever...
Gumbario after a charge could deal infinite damage to any enemy in the game because there's pretty much nothing with high enough defense to stop him. I beat Bowser in 2 turns because of Goombario. Goombella's also up there in TTYD, but the problem was it was just so much easier to **** with Yoshi, just boost his stats and deal like 20 damage every turn for 4 turns(And that's only with the star power) ****s too good.

In my playthroughs I leveled up BP and only BP. Then I put a bunch of Attack up badges/defense badges.... and got past the Pit of 100 trials. Lrn2papermario.
And still! Goombas > Koopas!!! Ugh. X(

Who else here was scared of Forever Forest? Had no idea what to do back then......Also hated the giant blooper in the sewers, with his scary as heck theme music

I think I must be missing something here...
IMO everyone is overrating Kooper. He is by far the least useful teammate in the game, only being useful for PART of a dungeon where his attacks could deal extra damage. He wasn't even useful against dry bones as it was just easier to use Fire Flowers on them.
More changes and love for Parakarry is too strong... And my mouse is acting funny anyway Parakarry is the world's slowest mailman and he is good.

Rawk Hawk was cool while he lasted, he gets boring though.
You cannot comprehend Parakarry's true attack power... Basically I like taking out enemies by carrying them... Or be in the air using sky bomb

The dojo thing was cool and the master was hilarious to me for whatever reason....
Doopliss is cool I just wished I could skip the whole thing if I knew his name and I didn't have to get a P.
Rawk Hawk was fun while he was new... Then he gets kinda boring.
Luigi was funny in paper mario... His diary was great also.

haha I've played it, never finished it cause my computer would always **** up in the middle (playing emulator/rom)
And my psudusfsdef name I had to think of quickly before brawl came out. I was tired of my old alias for smash, so since I really like this band that is now broken up, I used them for inspiration? I killed the prom queen is the name of the band, and my alias is meant to be Promking (i know, it looks like pumking doesnt it? lol)

Super Mario RPG was too FF-ish IMO. Great, but not that great. I still prefer Paper Mario. (excluding SPM since they basically ****ed Paper Mario fans with that game)

Hey, I'm playing through this game right now guyz.
Vivian's too cool.
SMRPG is good, but like, once you get over Geno fanboyism* and having Bowser in your party... and look at the lvl 30 cap... it's kinda boring.
Getting frog coins is as easy as the crossing bridge minigame, and once you get those accessories, the game doesn't have much else.
Plus it's too easy if you don't intentionally skip monsters. Like, anti-level grind.
*Not to deny I still think Geno should have been in Brawl especially considering he made the top 10 wishlist.
