Diversity is important. What if the other team has a couple of decent Ice Climbers players on it? With a Peach or two you can take a mediocore peach and use them to beat an IC player that might have taken a bunch of stocks off other characters. You should also take into account people's personal matchup problems. If you know someone on the other team sucks against IC or Peach or something, even if the Fox player is better, if the opponent sucks at certain matchups it comes in handy to give him that bad matchup.
Of course if someone is alot more talented than someone else always pick them, but if you are choosing between 2 people and they are close in skill level, if one of them uses Fox and you already have 6 great Fox players, then in that case you might want to go with the other guy who uses a less common character..

and edrees, the whole matchup things applies the same too. if it's that fox or a captain falcon, i bet 5 other foxes/sheiks/falcos on the other side are licking their lips to play that falcon so it goes both ways

Well King's obviously gonna be there so I'm sure he'll be on tip top shape for Genesis.

That doesn't necessarily mean he isn't fit for the team. I'm sure he will do very well at Mango Juice. Just watch him.

I srsly think Ka-M should be considered. His Luigi was pretty ****.
PinkShinobi is like, our only Peach. Except Bladewise, but I dunno I think Paul is better.

i think pink shinobi and ka-master and whoever already ARE being "considered"
they just aren't shoo-ins, which is what the first post is trying to reflect
also if rey CHOOSES not to go to mango juice for no good reason as he's thinking of doing, he should instantly be removed from contention for the team

Ka-M is probably going to make the crew if he goes. But right now people are saying he isn't going to go.

I believe the problem with variety is the possibility of counterpicks.
For example, if we have a good icys over a good fox, the icys will get counterpicked much more than a fox can ever get counterpicked.
I say skill over variety.

NorCal will kill all the other regions.
NorCal > SoCal > Arizona > MidCal > Oregon > Washington
