I did post this in the wario skype group but only got feedback from 1 person so i figured i post it here, any feedback/tips would be appreiciated ! This was my first time playing this matchup so if theres anything i should know about DIing (Specifically out of her down throw) or any matchup specific knowledge let me know !

@JeppySol Damnnn man really impressive Wario, you just have to play more patient against Fox, you can actually gimp him with Fair when he's using his Side B.

@ C C4- Overall i think you did a good job against Palutena, except for the fact that you get really impatient when she's on the ledge and you got punished by her bairs all the time because you wanted to fair her all the time.

You could try to play a little bit more patient if you have the lead no need to hurry on getting the kill quickly, just try to bait your opponent into something, since you are winning he will pretty much try to approach you all the time.

@ CometShred CometShred Your reaction times need to be a little bit faster, i saw sometimes you were been punished because you weren't doing anything after "x" move.

I just moved to austin. I got 1st in my first tournament over here but got 2nd in the second one. Only a few matches at the second one was recorded here:

Custom moves were allows this tournament, I didnt use any.

My pocket Wario made is debut and I really want to see what I can do to make him better. I want to use him for certain match ups. Especially :4rob: But for now I have been trying to relearn the character from Brawl and wanted to see what you guys think.

Last match of GFs of a recent 100+ wifi tournament I participated in (don't feel like posting the other matches, since all of them were pretty laggy and lost most of their value, in my opinion). Not really what I'd consider one of my best moments due to the lag, but I figured I'd post it anyways. Perhaps I'll post a cleaner set in the future, should it ever happen.

Hehe...shhhhh...

In all honesty though, I don 'to think it makes much of a difference. By the time I get my opponents to kill percents, my 3/4th charged waft is usually always available, wether I eat something or not.

Hey I really enjoyed your sets, but do you know what happened with your bike at 1:57:56? You were fighting Falcon and your bike reversed momentum at the edge and came back to hit Falcon. I know you can B-reverse chomp, flipping the bike, but the bike never turned around. That just seems crazy haha.

Thanks man! Honestly, I think it's just some sort of glitch or something. That tends to happen when Wario gets hit in the air while the bike is still traveling in ground, if I'm correct.

Your bike usage is pretty predictable. It's not really a great approach because it's pretty punishable, nor is it a great projectile (it does really pitiful damage if it does hit and you put yourself in a bad position.) Wario's neutral game mostly consists of aerial footsies. Spacing with fair and nair constantly, and bair if you get the timing on the autocancel. Wario has no real reason to approach since you'd be building up a waft which is a big advantage for you.

You mostly want to use the bike mid-to-close range where it's harder to react or use it to punish from mid range. You could also use it to challenge stuff since it's pretty durable. Mostly you should try to wheelie with it to get extra damage (wooping 18%) or to make it harder to punish. Mixing up your bike usage is pretty much key, really.

I agree with this. Also, use Chomp more. It's arguably the best move in Wario's repertoire. People don't use it as often as they should.

There are also some matchs with Phogo's wario (it's only his secondary)

About the mu wario/diddy : both Glutonny (France best wario) and Phogos (France best diddy) agree that the mu is really bad for wario...

Thanks! Your Diddy is great too! I'll be honest, the connection did kind of flub at moments, which was most unfortunate for both of out experiences. I'd love to play offline and see whether or not I can hold my own in more legitimate setting.

Your Wario is super good dude! Enjoyed watching it haha. Wasn't aware how much of SilentSpectre's skill carried over either.

Wario vs Falcon is an interesting matchup for sure. Neither can let the other get in, but Falcon being much faster just makes it easier for him to zone compared to Wario. At least that's how I feel about the matchup right now.

Oh also he shuts down bite pretty easily. He can dashgrab it which comes out super fast, and also sideb/downb.

It's unfortunate that the bite's hitbox got decreased, because none of those options worked on it back in Brawl.

At best, he'd trade hits because of the grab armor, but side/down B would usually get stopped completely.

Yet another glitch I mentioned a while back in a different thread, which I tentatively deem the "seizure bike" for reasons that are somewhat self-explanatory (Watch in high quality for best results).
