Smash Run or Classic mode or Allstar mode, you are more likely to get custom moves of the character you are playing I believe.

Smash Run is the quickest way to do it I believe.

Anyways, is it just me or is Wario's bike a way better move to use for actual combat in this game? No tires is a bummer but just about everything else, including lifting and throwing the bike itself, is way better.

Yeah. It's a lot faster in the air as well, and seems like it takes hits better. (Blocking Mac's KO punch lol) This is good.

Is it me or does it seem to slide farther, meaning it almost always falls off the edge?

Yeah the bike moves alot faster on the ground and in the air. Also when you jump off it, it slides on father on the stage and usually falls off.

Disappointing that he doesn't have a shoulder bash, but whatever.

I think Garlic Breath fits his character as a special move more than Chomp. I can't wait to use him.

It's over... No shoulder charge... But I have to admit, his B move options are really awesome. A Wario World one and a Garlic Breath one which fits Wario a lot.

High level play from a Wario Player who got to quarter finals of a 130+ player Japanese tourney

Wario player here used the bike A LOT and I think he uncovered some new tech. When you lower the bike after a wheelie, anyone who is under the bike as it gets to the ground is hit with a very potent kill move. It killed Ness at around 80%, it's really quite incredible.

Wario player gets ****ed up really bad here. It seems like Wario has no approach options against Rosalina, and she even lands a grab release on him at 3:00. However, she tried the same thing at 6:40 but the Wario jumped away before she could land her attack so perhaps he had time to escape all along... Ah, nonetheless, this seems like a seriously bad match up for Wario as it looks like he can't approach at all.

It seems like they really want Wario to make use of his bike riding offensively this time around with all the buffs they've given it, rather just using it for a recovery and as a throwing weapon.

It's better for approaches due to its higher speed and lingering hitbox after he jumps off, and it can actually KO at reasonable percents now thanks to the aforementioned bike manuever (Which I noticed produces a shockwave when the bike comes down from the wheelie to indicate its power).

Ya, I found myself grimacing at all of his awful Waft usages. Also, there's no reason he should have let himself get hit by ZSS's up B so many times (especially since the damn thing is Waft punishable). The main advantage Wario has in that match up is ZSS not having any good kill options, so he better abuse the hell out of that.

His spacing and grabs especially were really great though.
