On second thoughts I cbf posting about this war figured I'd just say.
Before you can diss me for not being able to get the bombchu hover first shot, I'll point out 2 things
-I activate the infinite sword using a bomb not a sign, hence it's alot harder to see if you did it.
-When you can glitch passed the guard on your speed run, then you can start mentioning about glitching

LoL, Get over your self. Alcohol has been getting people like you laid for a long time, so even if you are disapproving of it's use personally, you really shouldn't be judging others for it. Truly truly brilliant people who make our existence look like a drop of piss in the over all stream of humanity have drunk alcohol/been alcoholics.
Not saying alcoholism is a good thing, it is no doubt a vice, however we all have vices. Just because you personally don't approve of this particular vice does not in fact make those who drink alcohol "inferior" to your self.
Anyways rant aside, I'm home tomorrow and looking forward to playing some perthies. I know **** will be busy over chirssy etc, but can any one up date me on when the next touney/fest/whatever is on?

In Gero where i live, you cant have any social gathering without drinking, i find it rather ********. i dont drink because i dont see the need to, or want to for that fact. i practically get shunned upon because i choose not to follow the crowd. yes people have fun drinking, but people can also have fun without it as well.

Take drugs_ More fun, more risk, ten times the addiction_ Don't understand what's with the anti-drinking movement btw_ I don't drink regularly but i enjoy a good drink just as much as i enjoy a night on on the gear_ It all comes down to responsibility_ If you believe that drinking requires you to get completely ****faced for enjoyment then you are horribly wrong_ Having fun doesn't mean refining yourself within boundaries that restrict your options for enjoyment_
Unlike cigarettes which are made for nothing other than addiction and destruction_ Alcohol and drugs were created as social devices_ Made to compliment the social interactivity rather then be abused_ It's self weakness that allows humanity to be so reckless in there consumption, hence destroying the foundations of said social devices_ If you mantain control in your actions then you can enjoy what these offer you in terms of socialization and personal enjoyment_ No-one is forcing you to drink hardcore or become a drug addict, that is a sign of weakness that many allow themselves to succumb to_

Problem is you could never ban alcohol_ Black market and bootlegging would become chaotic and even a possible revolt against it's ban could become a possibility_ Unlike smoking which could easily become banned, alcohol and drug consumption just needs proper teaching implemented to create awareness and proper use rather than the campaigns attempting to tell you everything is bad and it will kill/ change you_
The issue is that whenever you tell someone not to do something they will most likely try out of mortal rebellion_ Humanities problem is that we don't always take what we are told, rather deciding to experience and make the decision for ourselves_ Attempting to completely erradicate an issue is futile, rather by creating awareness and teaching in proper use and consumption, we would be able to create a society much more capable of making calculated decisions rather then rash ones_
Unfortunately we do not live in an idealistic world and all of humanity handle substance differently_ This is a fact and leads to us always having those types of people who are either completely void of understanding, rational thought or decison making_ I always believe humanity is such a fickle existence that abuses itself and it's environment far too much to be considered beneficial_ Too often are we let down by our own imperfections and ultimately this will lead to our demise_

I only drink occassionally anyway, I'll admit beginning of this year I was getting drunk minimum of once a week and worked out it's not a life I want to live, I only drink on occassions now and half the time I don't even get the drunk.
Still it's people's choice to do what they want, in my opinion Pete typing an essay on Snorlax for your blog seems pretty pointless to me, such as does relying on alcohol to live.
As for banning alcohol, that'd be the worse thing possible, underground plants would rise, alcoholics would become broke and due to it being home brewed chances are it'd be alot dangerous then commercially brewed...So yeah.
Alcohol banned = more deaths imo.
Plus if you're stupid to go overboard and drive home *cough graeme cough* then if something happens it's their fault.

To clarify, since it seems I wasn't exactly very specific (which I blame on posting moral arguments at 1 in the morning), I'm not against alcohol, I'm against overuse of it, which too many people do. There's nothing wrong with a few drinks, but drinking to the point you can't stand on a semi-regular basis is a tad pathetic.
Also, my internet cut out, and I lost my window of opportunity for a witty remark back at Kane. Though, I'm not really sure he deserves one of if one of his comebacks is 'lol ur gay'.

The fact that a person makes a concsious choice to drink alcohol doesnt show they are weak willed. They are only weak willed if they don't want to drink alcohol because they have their own inhibitions or reasons which prevent them from wanting to do it but end up doing it anyway. Also dont assume everyone who drinks alcohol needs alcohol to have a good time. I come to these tournaments, for example, and i really enjoy them. I dont need alcohol to enjoy myself, its just an option for something i can do for recreation. There is no necessity, nothing more to it then that. It's like playing smash.
Jeez, since when were you such a bigot man? You're pretty quick to jump on your high horse and say we're all inferior to you because we choose to drink alcohol. Well yes. i drink alcohol. I like it. Whether someone likes alcohol or not comes down to personal taste. If you said you liked lasagne would it be justified to call you inferior? i mean, i hate lasagne. Also, on a more humourous note, I've always wondered if I could advertise a party with 'FREE ALCOHOL' and give everyone a large drink of pentanol and then get away with it, under the logic they came to drink some form of alcohol, I just didn't specify if it was safe. I don't know where to get enough pentanol, though.

Bringing alcohol at tournaments is a bad idea.
