You honestly should have won. You outplayed him all 3 games and lost to several critical technical errors or bad judgement calls (like approaching dair camping when you had a 100% lead). Its more surprising that you lost to him over lee or even chu. Im also surprised that it sounded like you resigned yourself to losing, both from talking to you a couple weeks before and in your interview after, you have to be more confidence! (surprising to say, lol)

It wasn't my lack of confidence. I was super confident. I just wasn't THAT attached. I wasn't nervous. I got rid of all of that with Lee Martin, if you watch the end of the 3rd video lol.

It isn't as bad as I thought...having 0 character exp in a MU is really bad...especially when you play the best one (Now I know what people must feel like).

Why did you approach M2K's dair/ledge camp when you were so far ahead? That **** really pissed me off when I watched the vids, because I feel like you could've won if you would've been a little more patient. Looked like you wanted the kill too badly and literally jumped into his camp when he was scared and running away from you.

Just curious what was going through your head. Your lead was so significant..... you had no reason to go near him.

I basically got hit once from being close (Closing in when he was off the angel platform) and I took basically 80% from his follow-ups. I was nervous to jump back because he could've up-b'd me and killed me earlier...after that I felt like I wouldn't keep the lead if I camped so I tried to extend it by killing him

Angel platform? Are you talking about Delfino? I was mostly referring to the match on Smashville.

In match 2 on SV I messed up the QAL, on match 3 I didn't think fast enough and I thought that he would get hit by the last hit of D-smash up and thunder. Yes I play with TJ off.

I love language. <3 But decided to be a double science major, so I had to drop all my language classes.

It'll take me a few more views to get a better critique, however, one thing stuck out.

Throwing his bananas back at him like that is essentially like giving them back to him. This is a Bad Thing (tm). If you're not good at using the bananas yourself, in this MU you get more out of simply denying him access to his bananas than using them poorly. You can get a lot of mileage out of just picking them up and dropping them/throwing them straight up in the air. Once you get comfortable manipulating the bananas, then you can start think about using those tactical nukes on offense more often.

0:47 you didnt need to spotdodge, you coulda turned around and grabbed.
1:11 you coulda ledge attacked the dtilt spam

try not to tjolt against GaW unless he is doing a move, oil panic gets really really powerful from tjolts

1:52 a running away reverse grab would have been sweet here...
2:41 the second hit of his dair shield poked you, use an OOS option like nair, spotdodge, or roll away.

GaWs upsmash is insane, just walk away from him when he does it lol.

In your tournament matches arikie a couple of your dsmashes and dairs were unnecessary when you couldve used fair instead or just ran away.

I dont think pika's running speed is enough to keep up with nado so just cam when he runz away or take a risk with qac.

You also messed up with your qa a few times and sdd once with side b.

Needz more dtilt. I would say ftilt too but your kills were too soon to use it as a kill move but it is still good to use.

Dont camp so close to him at times.

On the 3rd stock you had time to react sometimes during his 0-54% follow ups.

You always fsmash when he comes in your space while your camping. You could use a grab since he running shield sometimes.
