Technically I can delete threads, but I'm not really supposed to unless it's something like a porn post or something that people shouldn't ever see. Usually locking them is enough.

the no trip may have been on for these matches, but generally i don't trip an excessive amount more than normal and also the way i try to space i don't get punished for it that much

As always I've enjoyed your videos light. You've gotten better ^-^

Anyways I was hoping you could tell me what exactly you did before you landed your first fair 10 seconds in the third video. From the looks of it it's either a pivot, jump, fair or it's dash, rar, jump, fair?

Haha, I remember when I was talking with Light about Sheik vs Wario, and he described to me all these ridiculous inputs he had to do with Sheik in order to land a solid kill move (that didn't involve grabbing) and I responded "haha, all I have to do is press down b or c-stick right."

Mad props to you Sheik mains.

haha, yeah being a sheik main can be a ***** at times but at least putting the time and effort into her pay off at the end of the day much more then other characters below and above sheik on the current tier list.

its so much more fun to have to input that much, i love having that much control of my character. It makes me feel like i'm accomplishing so much more, and I manage to rack up so much damage so fast on other characters =]

i <3 you px i'll have to play my full gay style of abuse next time. your wario got so much better though dude i love it

You should. It's hard for me to truly assess the matchup if you aren't being as realistically gay as possible vs me.

It's kind of funny that everyone says I've improved a lot though, b/c I've actually been playing less than ever, haha.

I am impressed too. Pretty **** good sheik, dude. :) Keep it up.

Being technical may work against you some day, maybe cool it down in tournament when you know it's not helping... but I seriously love the way you play and it makes me wanna try more technical stuff.

In the live stream I saw you do RAR b-reverse needle cancel fair TOOOO GOOD

Not enough down smash.

Seriously.

Every time you try to situational grab, you could down smash since Sheik has no good follow ups, unless you can seriously predict and mind game, its just better to rack up some big damage or get them off the stage for a try at a gimp.

And you throw out too many random attacks for your defensive style, it'll get you shield grabbed by a high level player any day.

LOL sinjihn talking about high level players like some hot shot

results plz

uhhh grabbing is pretty useful for sheik seeing as i would argue that needles are some of sheik's most useful tools and grabs might give you a chance to run away and charge. grabs can also lead to follow ups...notice how there was no mind games involved in bthrow -> fair on diddy? also grabbing is the quickest punishment option given a situation where you're almost a full foxtrot away and you don't have the luxury of dsmash and dash attack is risky vs. shield...vs. snake grab is pretty useful, as you can just dthrow and then ftilt once or twice to condition them into airdodges (and then you can pull an armada and usmash them every time they airdodge and remind them why they don't do ADs above sheik)

also decaying dsmash isn't really exciting considering it's one of sheik's best "gtfo" moves and once it loses its knockback you're really going to have a hard time trying to charge needles, get them offstage, etc.

I'm calling it right now: Light will very soon emerge as one of the country's premiere Sheik players. He's one of the handful of people in the Southwest who isn't weighed down by the baggage of a crippling inferiority complex for specializing in a low-tier character, and he is already quietly making all sorts of important strides as far as match-ups and the overall meta-game go.

Looking forward to playing with you again this weekend, Light.

Quit playing Meta Knight. =)

Read my post. I wasn't talking about region, I was talking about amongst Sheiks.

And Ankoku, if the wow is at you being mentioned, it's because you're one of the few semi consistent tournament goers that mains Sheik. Don't go on a tirade about not being good.

Oh, I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

In that spirit, I should also clarify that Light will be the best Sheik in this space-time continuum.

I could go on a tirade that I only go to tournaments to play with other people, and there's really no chance of me placing any higher, or the fact that I won't even travel an hour out of my way to attend a tournament.
