If Sora happens, there will be no Disney content whatsoever, everything Disney related will completely vague such stating info like “Sora and his friends travel worlds” rather then “Sora, Donald, & Goofy travel worlds”

King Mickey would only be referred as “The King”

The Mickey symbol on Sora’s Keyblade will be removed and the characters and stage that get content are KH original only. (Spirits of Riku, Kairi, Organization XII and stages like Dive Into The Heart or Destiny Islands)

They could easily make Sora work without Disney stuff. His moveset is mostly Final Fantasy inspired, with the only Disney related stuff being his ability to summon other Disney characters. He can still use his own original moves like the Flowmotion, Strike Raid, etc. and the Final Fantasy spells. He literally has more than 60 commands to use in his games.

They could add a different keychain to his Keyblade, since they can be changed in KH games. Just use somthing like the heart or the crown symbol instead of Mickey's head.

There's a lot of Kingdom Hearts originated locations that could work as stages. And the majority of the music in Kingdom Hearts is original, rather than being taken from Disney. The only Disney music in Kingdom Hearts are used on the cutscenes based on the movies. The battle themes, world themes, and everything else is original.

They only need the rights to use Sora and KH originated stuff in order to make him work.

By the way, about that KH leak.

The Disney and Square Enix logos are actually part of the Kingdom Hearts logo. They're always featured above the Kingdom Hearts's one. I think dismissing a leak because of this alone is pretty dumb. Regardless, we should just wait and see for ourselves.

It's not 100% dead but, it's also "Babeh's 1st shop" tier.

So Vergeben posted some posts on Gamefaqs about the Direct tomorrow.

Basically he's reaffirming the games list that was floating around for a while. He said not all of them will be in the Direct, but he knows for a fact that the Pikmin 3 port and Star Fox Grand Prix will be shown off tomorrow. He knows Mario Maker 2 is a thing but doesn't know if it'll be tomorrow. Prime Trilogy HD is basically done but the Prime 4 delay may have altered its release schedule, so it may show up or it may not. He thinks the 2D Zelda MAY tie in to the Link's Awakening remake rumors, but he doesn't know for sure, or if it'll be tomorrow.

I would absolutely love Sora, but not having the Disney aspect of KH represented does somewhat defeat the purpose. That's the one thing that makes me have doubts as a Sora supporter, since that would also include 4th party representation which would be a massive disaster for everyone.

I really, really want Sora, but the Disney argument does hold true in some regards, which is probably the only thing holding him back. Darn you Disney.

Hey staindgrey , since you're pretty much the resident Resident Evil expert here (see what I did there?), I had a question. So I started RE2 this afternoon and for the most part I've been popping caps in zombies' heads until they "die" whenever I get the chance to. Now, is it true that the zombies who technically "die" will eventually turn into lickers? 'Cause now I'm a bit concerned that they'll come back to haunt me. Also excuse my Noob Knowledge™ btw.

Nope.

Lickers are their own creatures independent of human zombies. What you need to worry about with zombies is that they don't stay down unless you pop their heads off or they get downed, like, three times. They'll temporarily go down but get back up later when you come back through that same room.

Lickers can't see so if you're able to slowly walk past them you don't have to fight them. But remember what rooms they're in so you don't alert them by accident when you come back through. They're faster than you and they hurt like hell.

the logo "differences" don't really mean much.

what you should've tried to do was spot was a trademark symbol. you could barely argue that there's one underneath the S, but that's such a black smidge of blurryness it might as well be the background

A game with the depth of an Atari 2600 game and less buttons than an SNES controller. A game where the combat could be compared to Cookie Clicker and the rest of the game could be replaced with LEGOs and be even more fun than the current state that the game itself is in.

It really looks like a trademark symbol, but that makes it weirder because I couldn't find a picture that features the KH3 logo with a trademark symbol there, unless the leaker added it himself, which would be really strange.
