Like the new avatar. I guess you would also like to see Mach Rider in Smash someday?

Also, I doubt he’s dropping. Maybe next week, they need to warn about replays.
I would love to see Mach Rider at least in Mario Kart, tbh.

And yes, I also believe that Nintendo needs to warn about uploads first.

That'd be neat but then this thread would be pretty damn dead after the initial hype burst.

Remember, unless they start teasing a 2nd ballot or 2nd pass, after Joker, there are only 4 more characters, so while it'd be neat to know them all NOW... that initial 'WOW' factor would die off incredibly quickly.
Timeline seems pretty simple to me. Smash direct in April/May reveals two new characters. Direct in September reveals another character. Reveal last character at TGA. Maybe you can talk about content updates at e3.

I came up with a feature idea for my game project and I kinda want to know what you guys think of it. Do you guys mind giving me some feedback?

Wasn’t the Kencineroar Direct the last Smash Ultimate presentation according to Nintendo too?

Sure, share it.

I really doubt that. They'd save it for E3 at that point since E3 is the big, BIG stage.

If we don't get the next character DLC announcement tomorrow. Its rather dreadful to think we'll have to wait until June at E3. *Shudders*

The way it was worded was it would be the final presentation before the game’s release.

It’s Half Life 3 alongside DKCR3.

Nah...

We're getting Half-Life 3, with Gordon Freeman as a playable fighter in Smash Ultimate

You know what we really need?

Super Smash Kart.

Be an great spin-off to Super Smash Bros. if you ask me. Billybo10K gets credit for mentioning the idea on his predictions for the direct.

So, here's the idea I came up with.
I want to use the Highscore feature from older games but in a way that would be of interest to non competitive players. Reaching certain scores would unlock some different stuff, like:

- Different cutscene after a Boss is defeated, which gives some interesting information
- Beating the highest score before defeating the Final Boss unlocks the True Final Boss
- A new item/move is given to the player when a certain score is beaten
- A secret area is unlocked on the world map if a certain score is beaten

Players obtain score by defeating enemies, clearing a stage in less time, taking less damage in a stage, performing an specific feat, etc. The scores on the Highscore board would be quite high when compared to the usual base game scores from old games, which would require actual skilled play in order to be beaten. The high numbers would also incentive the player to try harder and try to find a way to beat the stage more efficiently. The more competitive players could also share their final score once they beat the game in order to see which player performed better in the game, this way people could make an online leaderboard to see who's the best player, like how people try to speedrun games, but this time they're playing for the highest score.

I also came up with a few ways to avoid the score feature being exploited:

- Once a stage is beaten, the player can not play it again in the same run. That way people can't farm for score, making them need to actually get better for higher scores.
- Losing all your lives would penalize the player, taking away a certain amount of their score.

What do you guys think? Is there something you recommend me changing, removing or adding?

THE CAMERA! I died so many times because i couldn't SEE the ****ing thing! Zoom out like in Spyro 3! Plus only being able to damage them with power ups is so infuriating. It feels so luck based. I just want to go up to the ****** and start hitting him I get so frustrated.
Hmm, I may have to take another look at those bosses, but I don't remember either of the three giving me trouble with the camera. It usually was pretty good at keeping focus on the enemy you're supposed to fight while also giving enough room to see around them and catch any item drops. As for the power-ups, we'll have to agree to disagree there as I felt having to make use of the items they gave you made those bosses more interesting to fight, especially with Ripto.

So um THIS HAPPENED:

E L M A G A N G R I S E U P

@faygoshill @Flyboy @osby Ramen Tengoku Ramen Tengoku
I know it may very well be for another project of hers, but I would be ecstatic if it's XCX related. It can be a port, a sequel, or Elma in Smash, I just want to see more of the world of Mira and Elma.

I don't think it's a good idea because it punishes bad play and allows for no room to improve. There's nothing wrong with a reward system but allowing players to replay stages to get a higher score should be a thing as otherwise the whole game becomes a streesfest to get a high score on the very first try

Lol, that makes me sound like your boss or something. Don't worry about any "due date," I was just asking if you were doing it or not... :yoshi:
Nah man I know your not my boss. I'd just like a due date. It kinda... Makes me feel like I should do it more instead of forgetting, if that makes any sense at all.
