Wait a minute, I just realized.

This will be the first Direct without any 3DS announcements.

...****, that's kinda saying something there. I mean, the numbers don't lie. People just don't care about the 3DS anymore. Look at the sales numbers for Mario + Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Remake, that sold less than 20,000 copies so far.

Nintendo always says they're not ditching a console even though they totally are.

"The DS won't replace the GBA" (the DS conveniently has a GBA port built into it)
"The Switch won't replace the Wii U" (Switch ports are released of Wii U games)
"We'll continue releasing games for the 3DS"

I think you're the one overreacting here alongside the people just trying to find something to whine about lol

The only thing I've said specifically about it is an explanation of the "controversy" to Professor Pumpkaboo and not much else. Oh, I'm certainly frustrated that the "Deku is racist" thing is a thing at all, don't get me wrong, whether the people saying those things were serious or joking around.

That being said, maybe you should be giving careful thought about why people reacted in such a way to the controversy (false or otherwise), rather than just saying "lol you're just overreacting".
