I think there's some confusion in this thread over how AC is being used.

AC can mean Animal Crossing, but it could also stand for Assassin's Creed, given that a port of 3 is supposed to be coming to the Switch. AC could also stand for Armored Core. Or Ace Combat. But I don't think we'll be getting those games.

So expect to see AC and AC mentioned in the direct, but not AC or AC.

Funny, I think some people thought that the AC in my username stood for Assassin's Creed (which I don't mind that much as I am a fan of it, but mostly of the underrated yet great AC:Rogue and its protagonist Shay Cormac), but maybe also for Animal Crossing because despite not playing it yet, I am a fan of K.K. Slider/Totakeke.

But nope, it stands for my middle name and my last name. And without it, if I just went with the initials of my first and last names it would still be AC. XD I did not thought for long for a complicated or inspired username back then.

The most I can see the Switch running any Kingdom Hearts game would be Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A fragmentary passage-. Any games past that? For sure. I don't think Kingdom Hearts 3 would work, since they've been developing that game for so long without the Switch in mind.

Because the Smash Bubble tends to ignore the outside world, and believes every character choice is tailored to simply them...

Because of course, a dead franchise like Golden Sun, is more likely to get a rep, than it is for the media juggernaut that is Pokemon to get another one...

If we were able to get more newcomers than we did i’d say he was likely. But with the smaller ammount (6 unique characters) Isaac is less likely. The more new characters you can do the more opportunities you have to do smaller characters from lesser known franchises. Honestly, in hindsight, that’s probably why Isaac is an AT. He knew he couldn’t get him in the base game and he knew that he wouldn’t get picked by Nintendo, so he snuck him into the ATs. Probably the same thing with Shovel Knight. (Even if he definitely would have sold well as DLC!)
