And even then, your comment wasn’t anything that would justify a block in a normal scenario.

When I find myself with comments like the one you made, I just accept that the user has a different point of view and move forward.

EXP Zero still exists in KH3, though. Not to mention there are ways to make a game harder on oneself if one so chooses to.

It could also be that an individual's skill level has progressed past the series intended audience and no longer holds one's interest. That doesn't make something objectively bad, it just means that the individual has either outgrown it, or in some cases may have never really cared for it in the first place (moreso if this is the first game in the series they've played).

Yeah those exisr, but that wasn't my point. My point was that "KH not being a game about difficulty." is false and that's why they add features like that in subsequent games. KH1 and 2 are both difficult played on Proud, speaking as someone who only got into KH in mid-2018. Critical even moreso. KH3 at no point felt like a challenge, especially with no critical mode.

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think I've suddenly got these skills out of nowhere.

Even ignoring difficulty, KH's combat leaves a lot to be desired, with an emphasis on mashing, grand magics, and cinematic mini-games, all which make it unsatisfying to play while breaking up thre flow of the game.

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think I've suddenly got these skills out of nowhere.

Honestly, it doesn't help that difficulty is very subjective. What's hard to one person might be easy to someone else and vice versa. Many people claimed the 8-Ball levels in Octo Expansion in Splatoon 2 were super hard, while I felt they weren't that bad and didn't have many issues with them.

If KH3 with Zero EXP on Proud is still a cakewalk for you, then that is unfortunate. However, I personally don't believe that makes it an objectively bad game, just like I never agreed with people about Brawl being a bad game. It depends what you want out of it, as well as taking the game's target demographic and market into mind.

Kind of a random thing, and no disrespect against Melee and it’s fans, but there was a tweet the other day that characterized why I myself don’t care as much about the game itself and find some do it’s fans as...pretentious.

This user basically tweeted about how their viewership was setting records for Genesis and what not, and then followed it up with “Melee is still the greatest game ever made!”

Like cool, you’re passionate. But for some people to say the Melee community doesn’t prop itself up or seem full of itself...yikes.

I played Melee casually for like over 1000 hours when I was a kid. Over time, i’ve realized that while it’s a good game for it’s time and what it is, there are problems I have with it.

I personally prefer Ultimate simply because of content and the balance of the game. I don’t think any other Smash compares to it.
