Ooooh I feel you owe it to yourself to finish season 3, because that's the point it really kicks off even if 4 (Didn't like it) and 5 (I still liked this one) have bad pacing, Vol 6 proves that they got their new engine in control and managed to get the hang of fight scenes again. Hell, Vol 6 has ridiculously fluid animation at times

I think I know the answer, but what was your major complaint?

I didn't like how boring the new set of villains seemed to be and Ozpin is being hyped up to be morally grey because 'the bad guys said so and never say why'. Volume 6 not only tells us who the **** the main villain is and her story, but also immediately **** on Ozpin with us seeing he's an ass and how nobody trusts him anymore
