Apparently, he spent like $4,000 on the Rosalina amiibo, and invested like $35,000 to do the same thing with the several other amiibo

I can't remember everything, but the main stuff was that in his videos prior to the leak, he said something big would happen on October 24th, the exact day the Grinch leak showed up. In one of his videos during the debacle, he straight up showed the discord where the leak was originally posted before it went on to 4chan. The way the Chadondorf dude wrote was also very similar to how MTP likes to type. MTP even straight up claimed responsibility for the leak after the November direct,

I feel like you're disregarding the distinct possibility that he's just completely nutsy.

His whole stated modus operandi for buying that many Amiibo was so that no one else could have them, and he was already off kilter enough before then that people didn't really doubt he was serious.

If you search in specific characters alongside 'Smash Bros Ultimate' you get a specific ad for the fighter's pass that only shows up with Joker. There are only 4 other characters who cause the ad to show up:
Banjo
Doom Slayer
Ryu Hayabusa
Artorias

Some think it's Nintendo preplanning keywords and this is the fighter's pass roster, but some people think it's fake for a number of reasons.
