I can't speak for 4chan or discord, but outside the initial post of papageno's video, there hasn't really been much discussion of this rumor. Even then, people mostly talked about how hyped they would be if it was real while also acknowledging that it could be faked. It was pretty similar to the discussion here.

I don't think "weird" is the problem. Women in video games are often designed MUCH too scantily clad or sexualized and this is just wayforward adding to it.
They are the opposite of weird, they're following a trend

I mean I'm a god of smug, but I can't think of a legendary that fits that criterion.

But seriously my partner would be Eevee. I adore foxcats to no end.

If for some incredibly strange reason Eevee was unavailable, it'd be Furret.

If 5'11" scarf/bodypillow combos were somehow banned within city limits, it would be whichever of Mawile, Gardevoir, or Pikachu was available first, in descending order of priority.

I extend the list this far not because I think any of my options would have any trouble whatsoever being available, but because if I didn't eventually work my way down to mentioning Pika half the thread would take one look at my avi and cry foul.

Well Dragonite's my favourite Pokemon but I feel like, as in the games, Dratini would be incredibly rare, if not rarer

I'm also a big fan of Kabutops, but who could say how feasible cloning Pokemon from fossils would actually be

In which case, it'd most likely be a Slowking or a Flygon

While Mimikyu is my favorite Mon, if the anime means something, then it's rather bitter to everyone.

So I would say, with me being a runner, some mon that emphasizes fast speed that could push me to be faster, and yet, can also enjoy my garbage sense of humor.

So I feel like Weavile would be my best bet.

Ah so after Joker we get Banjo, Ryu Hayabusa, Doomguy, and a Dark Souls character huh?

Not all that exciting to me. It brings over Ryu Hayabusa and Doomguy from the 5ch leak while switching Steve with Banjo, and replacing Erdrick with a character from a completely different franchise owned by a different company. The only one of this set whose game I played was Banjo but even then, I'm not all that hyped to see Banjo in Smash. I never include him in my most wanted picks.

It was more so that it wasn’t picked up by a publisher. But yeah at the very least they probably would’ve omitted it if it was released.
