Honest question, should we actually care about what people think regarding pandering or not? Feels kinda pointless sometimes to worry about how triggered are other groups.
It's pandering because they chose that story out of all the other stories hurr durr /s

I don't think it was ever stated why they were rejected, just that they were. Some of the original reports make no mention of it, so it's possible that it could've been an educated guess that got passed around as fact.

I was spoiled for the entirety of Infinity War and most of the stuff in Endgame, Individually it may not be that bad but considering that it's basically a two film event it's pretty bad.
I willingly spoiled myself the entirety of X-Factor's Hell on Earth War arc. Though, considering how depressing the whole thing was, a heads-up was probably a good idea.
I ended up getting spoiled about some major plot points in Persona 5.
Honestly only no. 1 is really thaaaaaat big.
No. 3 is moderately big.
no. 2 is pretty obvious from the moment you hear his slimy voice

The biggest twist about the traitor was people in-universe actually liking them.
And our universe too.
problem is that for all the mystery they try to build around the traitor, by the point you get to the final party member there's really no-one else it could feasibly be

I looked up the plot synopsis for Endgame as soon as it was released but that was on my own volition - for accidental stuff, I'm not so sure. I'd say 'I am your father' from Star Wars, but that's so, so widely known at this point that babies probably come out the womb already knowing the plot twist.

after seeing the news about how much new stuff there is, i'm sort of doubtful that tomorrow's news is going to be anything substantial, since it sounds like they've got a whole truckload of new confidants and locations to slowly dripfeed out, bi-weekly style
