On an unrelated note let me rant about these unused concepts from mega man 11

"Wow Bob, these are all such great concepts, which ones should we use in the full game?"
"how about none of them"
"****ing genius Bob, here are the keys to my car, go **** my wife"

I know grass is always greener on the other side, but looking at concept art always makes me wish for what never was. Like, look at these scrapped Guardian designs from BOTW

Those guardian designs look sick! Almost Shadow of the Colossus level. It's crazy. Have you ever seen the cut monsters for Shadow of the Colossus? There's some crazy **** that should have made it in for the spectacle.

I guess most people I know would just say "crossdresser" in both cases? I'm not really sure, but as far as I know that doesn't carry any negative weight.

Though in general I don't really think too much about terms like that; new terms are constantly popping up, and old ones are falling out of use, so I rather just let people wear what they want, and act how they want, and not worry about putting some label on them that they might not have chosen themselves. Probably helped in my case by the fact that in general, I don't attach any concept of gender to much of anything.

I think that has fallen out of use somewhat, as it kinda implies that feminine traits are lesser than masculine traits, and/or that a man is lesser for expressing such traits.

Disney Infinity had a lot of concept art featuring cool characters and worlds that got scrapped in the end too.

And if I am honest, stuff like Morpho Knight in Star Allies show that people like the idea of developers resurrecting scrapped stuff for new concepts.

Precisely, yes, but I'm at a loss for a better word.

It's not my wheelhouse, in fairness, but I'd prefer to have a proper term if one existed. There just doesn't seem to be one yet that does.

They can be used in a sequel IMO, from BotW the concepts feel more like horroresque than Zelda so I would prefer them used in a new game franchise.

There's no noun associated with the type in the same way that "tomboy" works. That's why people have applied "trap" without necessarily understanding the negative connotations.

on the one hand, these are cool

on the other hand, they're freaky as **** and don't really feel like they belong in a 7+ zelda game
