Who do you want for Smash DLC that no one really talks about but you're too afraid to be the first one to make a support thread

So why Corrin promoting a game is a bad thing but Joker not promoting a game is also a bad thing?

I think that besides the vast differences in character popularity, and discounting Joker as bringing something very unique and stylish to Smash as a whole, there's also the consideration that Sakurai showed off a great deal of love for Persona 5 well before Joker arrived - most notably with his comments about how its menus influenced Ultimate's UI, and his visits to Atlus - and it was clearly a project of passion for him getting Joker in.

Corrin has none of the above, despite what I feel is a very unique and interesting moveset, and feels like a direct shill.

Classic sales marketing dilemma. People want to buy, but nobody wants to be sold.

Pretty good, albiet kinda uneventful. Gonna be heading to work for a little bit in about an hour.

2) Your favorite game

Hmmm... that's tough tbh... I'm gonna say Smash Wii U for now (Haven't played Ultimate yet, as I don't have a Switch right now). Honorable mentions to Minecraft, Rhythm Heaven Megamix, Pokemon Black and White, and Pokemon X and Y

3) Smash Bros

What can I say about Smash that I haven't already said? It's my all-time favorite game franchise, and assuming the first game came out around the same time I was born (litterally about a month difference), It's almost as if it was meant to be. For real though we kinda take Smash for granted sometimes, but when you think about it for a bit, it's quite a big deal. Notable industry juggernauts like Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Sonic, Pac-Man, Street Fighter, and Final Fantasy all crossing over in one game is absolutely insane. And it's a Nintendo exclusive! Like... wow! We Nintendo fans are pretty lucky.

4) Games you’re interested in but aren’t sure about playing yet

Fire Emblem. I've always been interested in the perma death mechanic, as it means you'll grow to cherish your units that much more with those potential risks at hand.

Ngl Maxwell from Scribblenauts and Cooking Mama are picks I'd want to see for creativity purposes and because it be pretty fun.

Any other Persona character, especially Persona 3 hero and Aegis.

Also Pixie as a SMT characters because she's my favorite demon in the whole series. Some other like Alice or Metatron also have potential but everyone only talks about Jack Frost.

Of course, all of these have 0% chance of happening.

Mine probably goes without saying...
That said, I personally feel like Level-5 in general doesn't really tend to get brought up that much as far potential DLC candidates go. Besides Layton, there is also Jibanyan who is also a popular request.

That said, the first thing I ever did when joining this site was make a Layton support thread if I recall so I'm probably not the best person to ask...

Are people just oblivious to how the ban system works? I thought it was just a meme but I guess it just be that way.

FAQ:

Warnings - No points. Only new users/first time offenders receive these.
Infractions - 1 to 3 points (6 point infractions for porn/death threats/etc).
Perma-Point - Points that are always active. Handed out if you obtain 12 points within a 6 month period.
Ban - You can't post again until your active point count falls underneath 6. Larger Infractions = Longer Cooldown
Thread Ban - Can't post in a certain thread for a given amount of time.
Forum Ban - Can't post in a certain forum for a given amount of time.
Super Ban - Can't post at all, but can appeal for a ban-lift in Forum Support after some time passes. ~usually handed out after 3 perma-points
Super Ban - Can't post at all including Forum Support. Basically what is done to Spam Bots.
IP Ban - Can't create an account using the given banned IP. Spam Bot/Ban Evasion offenders.
Auto Delete - If it is discovered a user is in violation of the United States Federal COPPA Act. Basically if it is known a user is under the age of 13.

There are also miscellaneous bans for things such as Avatar, Signature, and "Like" system abuse.

So someone's who main mechanic is like using Mario's Back throw to knock someone into other opponents?

Yeah sometimes, but it's a bit more involved than that.

Say, in a normal JRPG you hit a guy. He hits you back.

In RH, you hit a guy he gets knocked into another guy, and if you hit that tile they both occupy, they both get hit. Also you can trade turns with anyone, including your own teammates from next turn and enemies.

Essentially you can stockpile like a dozen turns knocking enemies into each other.

As most people here would probably figure out... a Granblue Fantasy rep, probably Gran/Djeeta if we're going to be realistic here.
If we're going by my personal want, then I'd go with... Cagliostro.

However, most people here don't know that I'd also be down for a Puzzle and Dragons rep... b/c it's so unlikely I barely talk about it.
For what character I'd choose... Sonia... I guess (b/c she's one of the more recurring/popular monsters).

Hornet, the car from Daytona USA. At first you'd think I'm crazy (and you're kinda right), but let me remind y'all that he was playable in Fighter's Megamix where he stood on two tires as if he was a normal human being. Yes! I want that Hornet in Smash, not only because it'd be stupid, but it'd also represent the absolute insanity fighting game characters can be sometimes, and Daytona USA itself is a dang good arcade experience and of my personal favorites.
