Are people just oblivious to how the ban system works? I thought it was just a meme but I guess it just be that way.
FAQ:
Warnings - No points. Only new users/first time offenders receive these.
Infractions - 1 to 3 points (6 point infractions for porn/death threats/etc).
Perma-Point - Points that are always active. Handed out if you obtain 12 points within a 6 month period.
Ban - You can't post again until your active point count falls underneath 6. Larger Infractions = Longer Cooldown
Thread Ban - Can't post in a certain thread for a given amount of time.
Forum Ban - Can't post in a certain forum for a given amount of time.
Super Ban - Can't post at all, but can appeal for a ban-lift in Forum Support after some time passes. ~usually handed out after 3 perma-points
Super Ban - Can't post at all including Forum Support. Basically what is done to Spam Bots.
IP Ban - Can't create an account using the given banned IP. Spam Bot/Ban Evasion offenders.
Auto Delete - If it is discovered a user is in violation of the
United States Federal COPPA Act. Basically if it is known a user is under the age of 13.
There are also miscellaneous bans for things such as Avatar, Signature, and "Like" system abuse.
