To further clarify on my Wurmple prediction, I also expect them to add Venipede as an echo fighter in a later update. You see a lot of people probably voted for Gen 3 Rep and Gen 5 Reps in the ballot, so including both Wurmple and Venipede would without a doubt satisfy fans of both generations.
It's the kind of genius move only Sakurai could think up.
BTW guys I thought over things and the more I do think about it the more I feel Scorpion isn't as possible as I made him out to be especially given characters likeand such.
That said how would you rank Scorp's chances in making it?
@Meshima_ has kindly shared 3.0.0 LVD files with me. The LVD oversight has been fixed! Every LVD file in the game has been updated to remove garbage strings! No more "Menentoes" or "Jane", it's all been removed in this update.
First Party characters could either be the next wave of popular choices that weren't added in Ultimate already and aren't Assists, so the likes of Dixie Kong or something if she isn't in Season 1. The other potential First Party characters could be a promotional character like an 8th Gen Pokemon or new Fire Emblem fighter. Would be sick to get an ARMS character, but I don't think we'd get someone before Spring Man or Ribbon Girl.
For third parties, it'd be nice if Mega Man, Sonic and Metal Gear each got a 2nd character like Street Fighter and Castlevania did. But new IPs would be a much more likely thing to happen.
Of course, that's IF we get a season 2, and I don't know if that'll even happen.
Alright
Taking a short break from my entire day long stint of playing Xenoblade to take a bath and relax and stop freaking out about existential dread and weather anxiety
In othet news, Nintendo has been approved to sell the Switch in China. While it's a primarily a PC-heavy country, this will no doubt pump up the Switch a lot.
Nintendo shares jumped over 15.5 per cent after China’s Tencent won a landmark approval to sell the game-maker's Switch console https://t.co/QdMVMRTv6g

He has things going for him like his franchise being a Super Iconic fighting game franchise which I would aruge, Is only beaten out by Street Fighter itself so seeing Scorp Vs Ryu would be something that Sakurai may find cool and may want to accomplish.
As we've seen from so many MK crossovers the company behind MK is at least open to doing crossovers so getting Scorpion in Smash wouldn't be the hardest to negotiate.
Scorpion could have a Unique and distinct moveset from the rest of the cast.
That's all the good things I can really say about him though since MK's entire thing is gruesome violence and it's arguably gotten to the point that it's difficult for Sakurai to tone down completely and other issues.
Overall I would give him a 25% he's not the hardest to get or anything but I don't think his character fits within Smash.
If the Diddy & Dixie Kong tag team had been finalized for Brawl instead of being scrapped due to technical difficulties we’d at least have her in Ultimate.
