Storms don't scare me unless they're active natural disasters like hurricanes and ****. I'm supposed to be terrified of them so that's natural. What really terrifies me, though...


is going down escalators.

No seriously, they're like the easiest thing to go down and my body and brain utterly refuses to take the first step. I actually start sweating after a couple of attempts. Maybe I should do what this guy does.

Really, the Kotaku article shouldn't have even been a thing.

The person writing it should have taken a step back and asked:


"Wow, they censored Mass Destruction? Well, okay, this lyric SOUNDS like this, but it isn't, they wouldn't let that slip through."



But instead they just wanted

Honestly, nobody call tell the Persona songs' full lyrics without official confirmation so I don't know where they found the confidence to say "man, this Japanese lady definitely used an English slur, nevermind her pronounciation isn't on point for half of the words!"

I've always liked storms myself, I think I've only been mildly concerned about them once or twice. Like, something about sheets of water careening down from the sky is oddly soothing.

Roller coasters, though.

I've actually been thinking about whether I might actually be able to get over that one or not since I haven't even tried many of the big coaster types and I legitimately enjoy a lot of the little ones, but even if I do turn out to be able to enjoy some big ones I don't think I'll ever quite get over being afraid of the type of roller coaster that set me off in the first place. Wooden roller coasters are WAY too insecure for how much they rattle around, holy hell. Doesn't help anything that I ended up riding one at a theme park known for having the biggest wooden roller coasters in the industry, so you get a nice view of impending doom before proceeding to be jostled so hard you have to actively brace yourself against the restraints. Prepubescent me was white as a sheet and borderline unresponsive by the end of it.

It will be fun, they said.

I wanna be excited for that but dang, the Switch rumors dying really killed the hype for me. I'm hoping I'll feel excited again once I see footage, but right now I'm just kind of "Eeeeeeehhhhhhhh".

Okay, so, I WAS gonna make the final boss arena from BiS today, but I got a better stage idea. One that will bring nothing but good memories for people who are familiar with it! Here's a hint. ;)

authorities stand by their initial statement that this was a suicide
